Is that the one where she laughs about getting a rapist off or something?
Yes. She was a public defender and the prosecutor gave her the underwear (that was evidence) with any part that (supposedly) had blood on it cut out and thrown away. So basically the evidence they had to present was a pair of underwear with a hole in it, and no blood or DNA on it.

Frankly, the prosecution was lucky to get a plea bargain. She should have gotten her client off.

It was not MSNBC that did it. It was the Washington Examiner. They went to UA and found it. They released it. Then UA revoked their researching privileges.

Talked about here

Is that the game where factual reality is 100% irrelevant to every single right winger?

Did you, the purveyor of every lie and untruth, actually write that? Really?

The overwhelming majority of right wingers think she actually DID get him off. (That's because they are blubbering idiots with no regard for reality)

Again, the actual case isn't the issue. It is her laughing about it.

I know you are smart enough to understand that, Tuba. Your emotional ties to the Democratic Party and HRC may be clouding your ability to think clearly.

A perfect example of the Democratic Party blowing a comment out of proportion.

Thank you.

Hyperbole, stupid generalizations and stereotyping in two lines. You've mastered this.

She convinced him to take a plea deal actually.

No she didn't. She got the DA to reduce it to that because she played the system.

She is on record stating she knew he was guilty.

She was a public defender, doing her job. And the right wing thinks we should hate her for it.

No, the right wing finds it disgusting that she laughs about how she did it even though she knew he was guilty.

It is because he is attempting to make this about the actual case, when in reality, it involves her laughing about the case afterwards.

That's the point. Every fair-minded person understands that lawyers can be called upon to represent odious clients, but you would think that most decent folks would have to hold their nose to represent such people. Not only did Hillary not have to hold her nose, but she found humor in it.

The issue is not whether she successfully defended her client (that is her professional responsibility). The issue is that she revealed the results of her plea bargaining to a reporter on the record and made light of the fact she could no longer trust lie detectors. The insinuation is that she believed her client was guilty. She was taken to task about this indiscretion multiple times from a professional, ethical standpoint.

Are the Progressives caught up on the facts now?

I have no problem with her getting him off, but it's her attitude that bothers me. I wonder if she would have been laughing if the 12-year-old rape victim was Chelsea?

She requested to be taken off the case in the beginning. The humor she found was in the accuracy of a polygraph test.

This whole story is being way overblown. She did her job 40 years ago and laughed about a polygraph test.

Right.

Facts aren't the issue.

Emotions are.

I am well aware that is the way the right wing works.

Yeah, the Left never lets emotions become a part of their argument.

She "played the system". Nice catch phrase. Does it mean anything? No.

You don't really get what the job of the public defender, is, do you?

No they don't. What they find disgusting is the idea that a liberal feminist could very likely become President of the United States.
