Remember how Trump STFU about abortion, got elected, then flipped the entire judicial system including the USSC which resulted in Roe v Wade being overturned?
Roe v Wade being overturned was mostly about Republican governors and legislators in certain states pushing the issue to the SCOTUS. I doubt Trump was involved in coordinating any of that.
And yeah, he appointed conservative justices, but would you have expected a Republican POTUS to have appointed non-conservative justices? Under any circumstances?
Trump doesn't care about abortion. Personally, philosophically, morally. That's why he's being malleable on it.

This is simple. Trump is trying to win an election and slow the leftists.
I understand a historically firm, unwavering pro-life stance, but that position doesn’t win elections in today’s world. At the rate leftists are destroying this country there will be no need to be concerned with abortion as the left will green light it anytime, anywhere.

I support keeping abortion at the state level not because of elections, but because I fail to see what it has to do with border protection, foreign treaties, national defense, or interstate commerce....which is all the Federal government is really supposed to be handling.

This is a principled position
But the same people saying “it should be left to the states” and ignoring that we are never, ever rolling back fedgov to the constitutional parameters they idealize are the ones telling us to be realistic on abortion, which is obviously pretty rich

Frick Pence. He was Gvnr of IN when the NCAA was pushing men in women's bathrooms and the beginning of the tranny shite.
He wants Trump to lose, do of course he'll knowingly push for something he would lose on. It sux we are in this spot but will only get worse if the game is thrown.

Great strategy Cotton. Use Pence to sway votes from Trump. LOL
Most people don't remember who Pence even is.

At this point Pence is just trying to divide the GOP.

Trump is on record (and on video) as saying he was pro-choice before he decided to run for president. He has no principled view of the issue. It’s all pragmatism and transactional.

How people choose to miss the obvious is crazy! It's not about Trumps or anyone else's opinion or policy. It's simply following the Constitution. Anything NOT addressed in the Constitution is on each state to decide.

Without a conservative president appointing new justices nothing that you just brought up would’ve mattered at all.
Pence is either needlessly virtue signaling or actively trying to sabotage the GOP again just like Graham did to flip the 2022 midterms.

Trump may win the election, but the Republican Party is a straight up embarrassing tire fire.
Trump picked a very obvious evangelical as his running mate, I dont know why these minions are upset.
He is what he was advertised to be.

For all of those asking me how he folded I apologize I didn’t appropriately word my post. I wasn’t suggesting Trump did. I was more making a statement no one should if they hold something that morally close to themselves for politics. Sorry

Government intrusion in our personal lives is rampant. I see no reason to limit pushback to the federal government.

He needs another slap in the face.

And it is inevitable that any who reject their Fascist rule, will be 'aborted' (cancelled/imprisoned) as well. This is not rocket science, it is the historical norm for political competition. Do a cartoon of Muhammad and see what follows.
