Pence and Graham demanding fed government to ban abortion across the board is fricking dumb.

Their reaction is meant to provide fearmongering fluff to the msm.. "omfg! See? Republicans want to ban all abortion!!"

And it's also meant to alienate trump from the strict pro lifers.

Make no mistake, though.. pence and Graham don't give a flying frick about abortion.

wait so pence wants a NATIONAL ABORTION ban? with what terms?

no, trump is right. roe v wade was over turned so it could be kicked back to the states where it always should have been regardless of anyone's position.

Abortion is the one type of issue that I accept some malleability on, b/c it's not some set thing to me.

I don't know how we can protect rights at a federal level for people we aren't sure are actually people. If we can't get human life right, all other rights are up for grabs.

I think we should enshrine this in the Constitution.

I'm pretty sure he was real big on saying Roe v. Wade should be overturned.

You dumb idiot. Populists think the elite are what is keeping them down. Trump is one of the elite. Morons like you and Roger are populists calling a billionaire who is one of 45 men to ever be President a populist that envies the elite.

You don’t fold on your principles and morals especially on this magnitude of what you believe to be right and wrong just because “a majority of America supports abortion” (ofc this is all dependent on how the question is posed). You keep upholding them and attempting to sway others to them

Unless you are willing to take up weapons to prevent abortion, then your only option is to win elections. You will not win elections pushing for a national abortion ban. So, your options are saving as many babies as possible at the state level or standing on your morals and giving democrats enough power to make abortion fully legal across the nation.

If you cared about the babies, you will save as many as possible. If you care more about being morally right, then keep pushing for a national ban which will ultimately lead to the deaths of more babies.

If Schindler thought like you, he would have demanded the Nazi government stopped killing all jews, been arrested, and then not have been able to save even one. You're so righteous that you actually end up hurting your cause. Sometimes you just have to live in the real world.

Trump is a populist. This is not debatable.

His entire message is that the elites are holding back the working guy. WTF have you been reading?
