Experts are divided on the impact keeping this Obamacare regulation would have on the Consumer Freedom Amendment. Some say it would make no difference, while others say it would nullify the entire amendment. Either way, a new analysis by a government agency claims it would raise insurance premiums for people on freedom plans by $600 a year.
I do not want to gamble $600 in relief for middle-class families in exchange for an amendment that might be undermined because of Obamacare regulations.
That is why I will vote “no” on the motion to proceed on the new Senate health care bill. America’s middle-class families deserve the best chance possible to escape Obamacare’s burdensome insurance regulations. The full, original version of the Consumer Freedom Amendment is the best chance we can give them.

Dems are starting to get nervous now that the GOP went back and amended

Word is that the bill is dead. Also, the budget might be dead in the House. The Republicans are crapping in their hands and rubbing it in their hair.

Wrong! Word is they are a few votes away.

I'm going to laugh my arse off when you're out of excuses after this passes

Weird reasoning, but whatever it takes to kill this monstrously evil bill.

I'm just saying, word on the street is that the bill is dead. The insurance/tax mess that they are falsely labeling as "healthcare" is an incredibly complex issue with no easy solutions. The second it passes (if it were to), there will be 24/7 coverage of how Trumpcare is killing people. The Rs best option is to do a straight repeal of ACA and leave it at that.
There were storm clouds over DC today for sure

wrong, as usual, four votes down now, five if you count McCain. even with Senate leadership at the White house right now...2 more Senators have said GFY Mitch and Trump.

lmao. Like this still isn't an option?
This can still be done while we await the dead to join us again.

How's it going to pass in this form with 4 Republicans not voting on the motion to proceed?
And from both the extreme right and the 'normal' right - swing it one way, you lose more. It's a bad bill, and it's time it died for good.

For the bill.
What about a full repeal?

He doesn't know anything about it, and thinks it would be a win for Trump.
