It is going to be interesting watching the next four years. Evangelicals are hailing this as the second coming of Reagan and a return to alleged Christian values.
Trump got the evangelical vote by doing a couple photo ops with Dobson and saying things about conservative justices but I don't think he's ever been a social conservative.
I think in the long run the evangelical right loses sway because any Republican now knows that you don't have to do really cater to them and they'll still fall in lock step and vote for the GOP.
A strong GOP is good for this country and the evangelicals have bogged it down too long. Hopefully a better GOP is worth four years of Trump in the WH.

If evangelicals were stupid enough to believe that Trump is a devout Christian.......then they deserve everything they have coming. Trump threw them bones like 2 Corinthians and some read meat and it was less than half-assed.

I can't beleieve there is a 6 page thread denouncing someones religion. It is a deplorable act to hate on this woman for her religion. Why would anyone care about someone praying; but it is perfectly okay for some muslim to invoke their god and blow things or themselves up?

No, I was pointing out that not everything they believed in was right. Most of it was, but some wasn't. Even they knew this, that's why we have amendments.
