Yeah, cause that's such a HUGE issue right now. Good work keeping it down. But for folks like you we'd be fricking Christian Sharia in America.

Jesus. Have you even noticed the problem with Bachmans prayer theory?

The spike happened hours after people had already cast their ballots!

Don't bitch about welfare and bitch about early term abortion at the same time. The demographics of most people who have abortions are the poors.

I'd rather my tax money go to early term abortion than Shaniqua's kid who will cost us 100x more in the long run.

Lord have mercy. This is the reason why so many non religious conservatives like myself are hesitant to vote republican, cause of mother frickers like this:

If you're gonna let that sway you, then your convictions aren't that strong anyway.

When I read threads like yours, it makes me favor early-term abortions too, specifically, yours.

Non-religious "conservatives" like yourself will be the first ones coming to this site and asking for prayers when one of your family members is stricken with a terminal disease.

I have no problem with prayer, up to and excluding the point where you use it to make decisions that directly affect my life.

Sure, I've asked for prayer for family members who believe in it and I tell them because it makes them feel better.

I've never asked for prayer for myself cause I don't believe it works. It's a little more complicated than that, but without getting into a long winded explanation suffice to say I'm not a Christian and I don't believe in the Bible.

Where did I talk about welfare? You worried Shaniqua collects more than you?

If evangelicals voted against medical marijuana in Arkansas then it would not have passed.

I'm a cuckoo because I believe in empirical evidence over a book of fables. Makes sense.

I wonder how many of the founding fathers prayed over the decisions they made during the revolution and writing of our founding documents? You ok with those prayers guiding decisions? Or what about soldiers praying before going into battle to defend your freedom, that ok?

Damn near everything you believe is done so based on faith in the person who researched it or told you about it..you've lkkely done zero original research or had an original thought in your entire life, just like most everyone else..myself included.

Points well made. I've read enough of the fathers' memoirs to know they placed reason above all. Some moreso than others, but few if any were anything close to evangelical.

Soldiers have their orders already, I doubt they pray and improvise based on what they believe god told them to do.
