Fox News’s parent company, 21st Century Fox, which is controlled by the family of Rupert Murdoch, had offered Ms. Kelly more than $20 million a year to stay after her current contract expires this year.

I seriously had no idea these tv anchors were making this much. This is insane!

Smart move by Fox to dump her now that she's showing her years and has become obnoxious. That shitty new hair style she switched to probably contributed mightily to her declining ratings.

Nice to see someone from a network like Fox be able to find employment elsewhere.

They won't say her salary but previous reports said they would promte her crappy book. It sounds like they will match Katie Couric's salary of 15MIL. So Megyn is out 5MIL.

Could be a good thing. Yeah, she dislikes Trump, but she's still a Republican. Having an influential Republican voice on one of the major networks is a good thing for Republicans in the media war.

More likely they will parade her out there to show that "even republicans hate trump". No chance they let her actually give any conservative viewpoints.

And she will never be heard from again.

The NBC News chairman, Andrew Lack, wooed Ms. Kelly away from Fox News by offering her a triple role in which she will host her own daytime news and discussion program, anchor an in-depth Sunday night news show and take regular part in the network’s special political programming and other big-event coverage.

Yep

Put that horse out to pasture. Who's the next hot piece of arse Fox is going to prop up in her spot?

Disagree. Megyn Kelly isn't someone who will be anyone's puppet.

She has a strong personality and is a sought after talent in the industry. She's too big at this point to be a puppet.

She'll hate on Trump for sure, but she will still give her Republican views on her show.

This. As long as she doesn't sell out to NBC and still goes after the left like she did against Donna, this can be a plus for the moderates/right.

She may be a feminist in the sense that she thinks women can be strong figures in society. She likes strong women.

But she's not a feminist like all of these men-hating weirdos on the left.

Her feminism is a healthy and positive version of feminism.
