From Face The Nation this morning. I absolutely loved this.

Too bad there aren't more intellectually honest democrats like him.

There is no Democrats party right now. It is a leftist party not resembling anything like the Democrats of even 15 years ago.

When you boil it down,

quote:

if we hadn't been caught lying, we'd be running the country right now

Is absolutely what the Dems have been saying about 2016.

IMHO, Lifelong Democrats should take a close look at this party of theirs. Look at their tactics, look at their world view and try to see their long-term objectives.

If they take an honest and thoughtful look at that, they would realize that the Democrats are against the Judeao-Christian God, against US nationalism, against Capitalism, against the US Constitution (to the extend that it limits FedGov power) and against fair elections.

They are in favor of Totalitarian methods to seize and maintain political power in order to transform the USA into a "servant state" of the Globalists.

This "servant state" will generate wealth to be re-distributed internationally by sending it abroad or by bringing the recipients to live in the USA. This "servant state" will also maintain a strong military to fight the wars deemed necessary by the Globalists.

Once the facts are objectively and thoughtfully considered, this is the conclusion that logic dictates.

True. It's much further to the Left than even a POTUS as recent as Bill Clinton.

Great points by all of you.

Agreed 100%. And I think some may be finally starting to see that. Not enough for a sea change though, which is what they need. I have a buddy here in Jacksonville who is a lifelong democrat. Perfectly normal in every other way. To have conversations with him about things like small business, life philosophies, music, LSU, etc. you would never peg him as a dem. He should be the exact type to do this. I just don't think I can see him doing it though. Maybe because he hates Trump too much to allow himself to. I don't know.

I'm a lifelong registered Dem that's moving independent...

...the party doesn't reflect my values anymore and is no longer trying to be pragmatic.

I personally think if you're a white Democrat today, you must be mentally ill and if you're a white male democrat, you are a masochist.

The party is OPENLY supportive of people who flat out HATE white people.

Being a white Democrat today makes as much sense as being a black supporter of George Wallace would have made.

Most of Dems and Republican supporters are sheep.

I'm moving away from the party because Of the BS antics and more extreme ideology creeping in.

On the flip side, the Rebublican party is a sinking ship unless it can start appealing to the middle.
The extremes are high jacking the parties.

A poster said they can see a how a white dem can be mentally stable, I would pose the same question to any Republican.

not only are democrats out of touch as the man says, the democrats have no interest in being in touch. they have a false narrative and they cling to it as if it's a religion.

THE DEMOGRAPHIC TIPPING POINT!

this belief that they can cobble together a coalition of fruits and nuts and over come a 70% majority of whites to win in perpetuity. that's pure sophistry. it may work with the popular vote but we don't elect the presidency on the popular vote. take a look at that graph.

3.9 million babies born in the US annually and over half are white. we're going to be the majority for a long time.

obama won the popular vote in 2012 by 5 million votes. his popular vote margin in california was 3 million votes in new york two million votes any of that sound familiar?

obama won the presidency in 2012 because he over performed his national average of 40% among white voters in the mid west. performing into the low to mid 40's. clinton under performed her national average of 41% of white voters in the mid west performing in the 35-38% range. handing the victory to trump.

the other problem is that minorities are not evenly distributed in the united states they are disproportionately distributed in red states and a state turns red when 60% of the white vote or more accrues to the republican party and they tend to stay red. mississippi has the largest percentage of blacks in the country at 33% but 90% of whites in mississippi vote reliably republican.

the reason you don't play identity politics is because there was always the risk of creating a solid white voting bloc.

we are now there.

if your battle cry is "sex is between your legs and gender is between your ears!" you're not going to attract the number of people needed to win elections no matter how many times you call those people haters.

You need to look on the mirror at your own party.

I grew up a Democrat in the South, and I say that because my whole family were Democrats. Didn't even know anyone who was an outright Republican. Dems have forgotten the middle class, hardworking people. They have completely turned into the party of entitlements, racial divisions, and identity Politics. They rely on people with their hands out, and the stupid single issue voters, and know it all elitists/ media to push their agenda. Hopefully by the election of Trump, they will remember what they used to be, but it don't look like there's a chance in hell they will learn a damn thing...

The Democrats were headed that way before centrists like Bill Clinton and John Breaux steered it to the center. Now, because of demographic changes in our country, the leftists have seized control.
