They swore for 7 years they had a secret plan ready to do just that.

yeah the GOP is full of blowhards who hit the stumps with rhetoric that sounded good as a sales pitch

i'm not a Republican. i can still ask how they even go about doing it in reality

i'm not a partisan and am asking objective questions, and all you've done is give partisan-based responses. I'm not a Republican. you're not going to hurt my feelings by making fun of the GOP

Yeah but you have to understand what parts of Obamacare Republicans want to keep. Most want to keep pre existing conditions covered, possibly with stricter guidelines. That is the #1 thing driving premiums up. You can let the exchange collapse, remove the mandate, etc but if you keep pre existing conditions, everyone has to pay more.

I don't disagree with any of this. I'm not advocated for the GOP plan/plans. They're terrible.

i think the issues need to be segregated into their own discussion pods, with costs/benefits analyzed independently

i don't mind having a discussion about PECs, but that should be independent of all sorts of other issues involved

that's the problem with the ACA on a fundamental level. it's too big with too many "pods" covered

Didn't read the whole thread but can anyone answer what the timeline would be for Obama Care to crash and burn? I know it's close already. One year? Less? 10 years? I agree with the fact of the GOP has had 8+ years to have a plan in place to "repeal and replace" but we all know that is a dream.
