I'm wondering if his stay in the Hanoi Hilton effected his thought processes.
I just can't be too hard on a man that is one of my heroes BEFORE he got into politics. He conducted himself like a true American soldier during those years in the Vietnam prison.
He should just switch to the dumocrap party.

So you are not a veteran. That's OK, neither am I, but my dad was one of 6,400 82nd Airborne paratroopers (kids) who were dropped into Normandy on June 6th, was severely injured, but fought his way to Sainte-Mere-Eglise and made it out alive. My uncle rolled with Patton's 3ed Army as a tank gunner across France all the way to the Battle of the Buldge without as much as a scratch.
Guys like you and me can express our opinions to a large extent because of our military veterans - which includes McCain. I take personal exception to people who call brave fighters DOUCHES - especially from those of us who never walked in their shoes.

I'm a vet too. These wars were not fought for our freedom of speech. they were not fought for freedom at all. We lost freedom because we fought these wars.
