CNN Article

quote:

This is the sign of a possible unraveling of the world order that was established after World War II, which has made one of the most peaceful periods in the history of the world

this is simply amazing. AMAZING. you picked the wrong fricking period, John, and you picked a period that led to a stupid proxy war against Russia in Veitnam. you may remember this little conflict. i think you were affected by it, but i'm not sure

he also goes on to claim that Russia has an advantage over us in terms of Cyber Warfare

i saw on CNN yesterday (looking for article or clip) that he also is promoting a response that goes beyond cyber warfare. assuming the worst, what are we going to do, John? engage in a legitimate war with Russia? that's what you want?

oh wait

it's John McCain

he always wants to go to war. fricking piece of shite

I respect his military service greatly, but despise his political tenure.

The butthurt just drips off McCain these days. Literally, remember, this guy picked Sara Palin without vetting her abilities. I think his decision making and logic should always be in question from that point forward.

well he's not totally wrong. this is the most peaceful time in human history

it's just a lot better to look at the period from the fall of the USSR to now, instead of the whole Cold War thing

If daddy wasn't an admiral and he hadn't been a POW, no one would have ever heard of John McCain

Like most career politicians such as ted Kennedy, he's remarkably unremarkable

glad to know in the age of the Democratic party becoming full on progressive and Trump winning the Presidency, he still maintains his spot as the worst national politician in the US. impressive feat, John...most impressive

He basically did the equivalent of a boxer "taking a fall in the 2nd round" in '08. Sold the People out.

I read this too and was amazed.

John Podesta clicked on a phishing email that Kige Ramsey would have written and McCain is calling for, what, boots on the ground?

Advanced cyber capabilities!

Not only fall for a phishing scheme, Podesta had his iCloud username and password in his gmail account emails that were released by Wikileaks.

The iCloud username and password were picked up by the folks on 4chan and they still worked after much time thus gaining access to his iCloud account.

I'm still shocked that he got the Republican nomination back in '08. How in the hell did that even happen?

some quotes

quote:

I think that they’re on a task to try to defeat what Gen. Petraeus & Osama bin Laden have said is a central battleground in our struggle against radical Islamic extremism. We are facing a transcendent evil of radical Islamic extremism that wants to destroy everything we stand for and value. I know that’s what she was talking about.

quote:

Osama bin Laden is responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent Americans. He’s now orchestrating other attacks on the United States of America. We will do whatever is necessary. We will track him down. We will capture him. We will bring him to justice, and I will follow him to the gates of hell

quote:

This nation faces a severe crisis. We are fighting a war on terror. That is the overriding, transcendent issue in this campaign.

quote:

The awful events of 9/11 declared a war we were vaguely aware of, but hadn’t really comprehended how near the threat was, and how terrible were the plans of our enemies. It’s a fight between a just regard for human dignity and a malevolent force that defiles an honorable religion by disputing God’s love for every soul on earth. It’s a fight between right and wrong, good and evil. And should our enemies acquire for their arsenal the weapons they seek, this war will become a much bigger thing.

quote:

We are engaged in a hard struggle against a cruel and determined adversary. Our enemies have made clear the danger they pose to our security and to the very essence of our culture-liberty. Only the most deluded of us could doubt the necessity of this war. Like all wars, this one will have its ups and downs. But we must fight. We must.

McCain is 80 years old. Pelosi is 76 years old. They need to retire already and stfu. I think they have dementia.

The neocons are incredible. See Doc Fenton's thread yesterday. I'm not sure if they are truly delusional and think we are appeasers if we don't fight proxy wars with Russia and Iran 24/7 or if they have ulterior motives.
