Well they aren't there yet, but that's precisely what they "dream of." Through trial and error they'll get there if left undeterred.

And this is coming from someone not yet on board with preemptive military action.

And while I don't like the idea of preemptive action either, the idea of possibly sacrificing Seoul or Tokyo or even Honolulu to their "trial and error" is by far less appealing.

I'm more of a middle of the road kind of guy... I guess libertarian...
But I'm sick of North Korea and their shite.
Posturing is fine.. political tough guy talk is fine..
But it gets super old really quick.
I'm fine with coming to an agreement with China and Russia to wipe them out and let China have the land.
Tell China that in return they quit building islands and resume reasonable trade with us. And Russia can chill knowing we (south Korea) will not share a border with them.. just more China border..
Let those bordering countries take in those seeking asylum.
But let's end this cauldron of shite.
Plus.. we use up all these bombs that are expiring..

My question is why. North Korea hasn't ever attacked anyone. Why are we so afraid of this miniscule country on the other side of the planet.

N Korea has been working on missiles. sometimes they shoot them many miles.

N Korea has been working on nuclear bombs. they have made an atom bomb and exploded it. a couple of times.

missile + nuke + tough talk about shooting missile at USA.
scaring Japan. Scaring South Korea.

you got this now. I know you can do it.

We should withdraw from the Korean Peninsula.

All we need to do is watch them. Seems like a much bigger problem for the China, Russia, South Korea and Japan to me.

All are plenty capable of dealing with NK.

NK is no threat to the United States.

We don't want our trading partners Japan and South Korea to have ANY bigger problems with a lunatic with nuclear weapons.

Completely agree

Why is it always up to our military to do the fighting?

N Korea is not building nuclear ICBMs to attack anyone except the United States, which they constantly proclaim to be their goal.

I agree with McCain and thought Obama should've done something years ago instead of pretending the threat wasn't there.

This, this right here. Well said. Plus you can like it or not, we have a treaty and obligation to the Japanese people to protect them from the fat little bastard with THE BOMB!
