My question is why. North Korea hasn't ever attacked anyone. Why are we so afraid of this miniscule country on the other side of the planet.

Because they're testing nuclear weapons and could be months away from a deliverable miniaturized warhead and a capable ICBM. They're literally the only country on earth dumb enough to use them because they have nothing to lose. If we don't stop them before they achieve miniaturization, 30k U.S. troops and millians of South Koreans (one of our biggest trading partners) will be turned to radioactive ash. It's KINDA A BIG F$&KING DEAL!

I don't think we are afraid

I think it's two things. There is money to be made in war. Two, it's also not completely unreasonable to think something should be done to help the people of North Korea if there is something we can do to help

I'm all for not getting involved, but we have to be honest with ourselves that we simply don't give a shite how many of Kim's people he kills if we decide not to step in. I see both sides of the issue

there is a BIG difference between being afraid and taking out a problem before it becomes a problem.

A completely unstable country that will soon be able to nuke the continental US is not "minuscule".

I am so sick and tired of churning tax money on these fricking bullshite wars that only benefit MIC contractors. Taxpayers gain NOTHING in return for these wars!! Enough is enough already. We have plenty of issues here in america that need attention and funding that don't involve shooting/bombing foreigners.

I don't really care if they attack someone. Let them deal with it. Not our problem. Not everything in the world is our problem.

The same country with nuclear capabilities? Youre a fricking idiot.

I dont know why, but you really get under my skin with your cowardice. A Want, Toddy etc dont bother me at all. But you posted a video of how brave you were to hold a Trump sign at a anti Trump rally, then proceed to be anti Trump in everything you post.

NK couldn't dream of launching anything of distance to reach the US. More fear mongering for more wars just like the whole "WMDs" scare of the 2000s. Republicans don't know how to do anything but waste tax dollars on wars.

But unlike all the bs wars in the middle east, they are months away from being capable of, and are already more than willing to, attack us in addition to our allies in S. Korea and Japan.

When does it become our problem?
When they wipe out 30k U.S. troops en route to massacring our 6th largest trading partner and reducing their capital Seoul, home to 10 million people, to ashes?

When they nuke our Marines at Okinawa and turn Tokyo into the next Hiroshima?

When they nuke the pacific fleet in Hawaii and the 5th Fleet in Bahrain?

When they irradiate the American West Coast? Will it be our problem then?

Yeah.... that's the same argument that was used to embroil us in Iraq and Afghanistan. It was bullshite then, and it is bullshite now. You are allowing the war whores and the MSM play you like a fricking fiddle.

Yes, I know the neocons are the boys who cried nuclear holocaust, but the wolf is at your door step. North Korea is not Afghanistan or Iraq. They have a real military and a lunatic at the helm with a proven nuclear stockpile. We have only a limited window of time to stop it before it's too late. They actually have successfully tested nuclear weapons. They have successfully tested ICBMs. Once they get miniaturization, and they are getting closer every day, they are ready to go. We don't have years to see how this pans out. They'll be war ready by Christmas.

Open war is upon you whether you "risk" it or not.

F John McCain!

McCain is dead to me, but I really don't know if he is correct on this or not

would be very happy if a solution that does not include violence or war can be found, but would not be overly upset if we take action against them

I really am just not knowledgeable enough about this situation to have a really strong opinion either way...

Because they were only LARPing a batshit crazy dictator before. Now he's living the dream for real, and with actual nuclear weapons and just accomplished solid fueled rocket which is a game changer. Stop him now or just pray.
