Don't you realize that all of those things are merely a mirror of the other "side".
I like and respect you. I truly do.
But, you and your "side" make similar comments when the show is on the other foot.
I'm not any better. I'm just lucky. I despise them all

How about the part where a man was jailed as a political prisoner to enhance the cover story?
“Hillary Clinton came up to me and I gave her a handshake and a hug, and when I shook her hand she said to me, ‘We are going to have the filmmaker arrested.’ Even at that time, she was trying to place a spin on what happened,” - Charles Woods, the father of Benghazi hero and former Navy SEAL Ty Woods

Still incarcerated iirc, and you think that's ok?

Yep, forgot about that. He was arrested for violating his parole on a bank fraud conviction. Had nothing to do with the video.

Of course. And right back at you.
I think Benghazi was a horrible event but I also think at this point those who still cling to the possibility of some sort of bombshell/conspiracy are delusional and hypocritical beyond belief.
Here is the article:
quote:
use Speaker John Boehner has officially chosen Rep. Trey Gowdy to lead the congressional hearings on the terror attacks that left four Americans dead in Benghazi, Libya.
Boehner’s office sent out this tweet and explained why Gowdy was tapped:
“With four of our countrymen killed at the hands of terrorists, the American people want answers, accountability, and justice. Trey Gowdy is as dogged, focused, and serious-minded as they come. His background as a federal prosecutor and his zeal for the truth make him the ideal person to lead this panel. I know he shares my commitment to get to the bottom of this tragedy and will not tolerate any stonewalling from the Obama administration. I plan to ensure he and his committee have the strongest authority possible to root out all the facts. This is a big job, but Rep. Gowdy has the confidence of this conference, and I know his professionalism and grit will earn him the respect of the American people.” -
Prior to Congress, Gowdy worked for six years as a federal prosecutor. He was awarded the Postal Inspector’s Award for his efforts in prosecuting one of America’s Most Wanted suspects, J Mark Allen.
Christopher Stevens, Tyrone Woods, Sean Smith, and Glen Doherty died, and finding out why the Obama Administration actively lied and deceived the American public about their actions and the subsequent cover-up makes a huge difference.
They're just collecting ad revenue - there's no mention of his prowess...just a standard press release. Yet the web site becomes click bait by offering a little "2 minutes hate"

Trey Gowdy Claims Evidence Of ‘A Systematic, Intentional Decision To Withhold Documents From Congress’ on Benghazi
quote:
South Carolina Republican congressman Trey Gowdy claimed he has evidence of “a systematic, intentional decision to withhold certain documents from Congress” about the Benghazi attacks and alleged White House cover-up.
Gowdy spoke with Fox News’ Greta van Susteren about Speaker of the House John Boehner’s Friday decision to form a select committee on Benghazi. The congressman explained that the committee will allow a more complete investigation into the issue, unburdened by the jurisdictional restraints that often plague other committees.
“If you want to have Greg Hicks and the station chief from Tripoli and Hillary Clinton all sitting at the same table, you need to have a committee that has the power to do that,” Gowdy said. “And a select committee would have that power.”
Gowdy — widely viewed as a frontrunner to chair the new committee — later told Susteren he supports Congress’ subpoena of Secretary of State John Kerry in order to get documents they have long awaited from the State Department.
He then added he has proof that documents relating to Benghazi and the alleged Obama administration cover-up have been deliberately withheld from Congress.
“Well, I have evidence that not only are they hiding it, there is an intent to hide it,” he claimed. “I can’t disclose that evidence yet, but I have evidence that there was a systematic, intentional decision to withhold certain documents from Congress.”
“And we’re just sick of it,” he added. “So we’re gonna have him come explain why we’re getting documents 20 months late.”

I'm curious to see if Joe Citizen and Jane Housewife are as enamored by Benghazi as the posters here are.
I could see this going either way for the Republicans.

So true.
Even IF (and, of course it won't, but let's play, anyway)... even IF another email is uncovered from Obama, himself, to Ben Rhodes urging Ben to urge Susan Rice to stress the importance of the video there would still be nothing even remotely criminal in anything Obama, Rhodes, or Rice did... nor would it negate the truth of their assertion that they were working off the latest available CIA assessment.

Hard to tell but I don't think Gowdy would have lobbied for this kind of exposure if he didn't have a road map planned out to get to where he wants to be.
True. So many people ignore the fact that the various committees have heard a lot of closed-door testimony and we do not know what they know. We don't even know what was in the classified portion of the ARB.
