Williams said everything was on the table in terms of the interview. His answers are responsive and on point.
He hasn't asked anything unexpected at this point, all predictable questions. His answers are rehearsed. There's nothing wrong with that I guess, it's expected even, but not spontaneous, and doesn't sound as sincere as non rehearsed answers would have.

He acquitted himself very well.
You can call him "rehearsed" if you need to. His answers were not vaguely associated Obama-like talking points. They were very responsive.

I was already a supporter of Snowden. This interview cemented it.

I would hope so, considering the time he obviously put in to preparing them. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, but prepared answers sound like just that.

This isn't some bonus point quiz for him in freshman sociology. I am pretty sure he has thought deeply about every single aspect of this.

I am not buying that.

Highly educated individuals sound just like that.

I know IT is different, but how does someone who dropped out of High school keep moving up with a large contractor and how does he keep getting higher and higher clearances.

Are you asking about him individually, or the company?

As you said, nothing was unexpected. I'm sure that he has reflected deeply on all aspects of this and had a great deal of inner dialogue throughout the experience. Any intelligent person would be prepared to answer the questions. So in that regard, of course he was rehearsed.

What's your point? Would you find it more believable if he bumbled through the answers and seemed as though he hadn't given the info and his actions much thought? His answers were concise and on point, exactly what's would expect from someone telling the truth about something they understand well.

No doubt.

Every answer looked prepared, that's all. Combined with an air of smug nerdiness, I don't think it's going to help public perception as much as it could have. Just my opinion.

That is a good description of his tone.

However, if people pay attention to the actual substance of his remarks, then I believe the vast majority will come away extremely impressed w/ him and agree w/ his views and actions.

He broke the law and damaged American security. He accomplished jackshit except feed his own narcissism. Let him choke on it in fricking Russia.

So, exposing the government's massive collection of data on us is a problem to you?

Is it your belief that all laws are just? He didn't "damage American security", he "damaged government's control and overreach".
