White, black, or glow in the dark green, the people behind this attack should be tried for attempted murder. Simple assault doesn't cover beating people with heavy objects and repeatedly kicking them in the head when they are helpless.

Now up to 10 arrested and one parent charged with delinquency of a minor because her son wasn't in enrolled in school. Not surprised by the quick action by the MPD as the Mayor has been under a lot of heat for not giving a crap about the outbreak of teen violence in the city. We had 15 teen involved shootings over the span of two weeks last month.

Three boys and three girls, all either 14 or 15 years old, are each charged with aggravated riot, a felony.

This brings the total number of people charged in the attack to ten.

Four others were charged earlier Monday. Two of those, a 15- and 16-year-old, are also charged with acting in concert: to wit aggravated assault.

According to Mayor A C Wharton, the 15-year-old was out on gun-related charges at the time of the attack. Wharton said the teen was not enrolled in school and his mother was previously charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Memphis PD has also located and closed in on the shooter in the Target parking lot, who is barricaded in a house somewhere.

Good police work, and I'm glad parents are coming forward. I'm honestly impressed with that city today. Community outrage (from both the white and black community) actually produced some results.

This is a hate crime with the potential to kill. I've seen far less fatally injure people, most recently a student in La was sucker punched by another student 1 time, the student that was punched fell to the ground, hit his head & this injury would later take the young mans life. No excuse for the type of behavior that is being displayed in the Kroger video.
On the flip side of this situation if one of the (white) victims would have unholstered a legal weapon & was forced to pull the trigger in self defense, this would be considered a hate crime by MSM.
