The guy was the most smug, arrogant, pretentious son of a .... on the air.

He probably would have paid Fox to let him keep his show so he could continue to hear himself talk to millions. The guy has been on the air for what, 20 years, and I tried to like him for the first couple of years, but I figured the guy is already ~50 - he's not changing.

I have no idea whether the accusations against him are true, but I have no problem imagining that they are.

He had the most watched show on TV news for 20 years. He must've done something right.

I'm not arguing he wasn't successful. He gave voice to a lot of what people wanted to hear - he just did it in the worst way possible.

Glad to know you don't watch CNN or MSNBC

Tapper, Van Jones, Mathews, Todd, O'Donnel, Oberman, and Madcow. are all more arrogant smug and pretentious than O'Reilley.

Ok - that was a bit of hyperbole - Maddow and Olbermann are def worse.

Chris Matthews - 18 years ago, the guy was swooning over GWB. Think about that and how much things have changed.

Might need a little linkage to back that up.

Remember, Olberman had the same women problems as O'Reilly in the past. Maybe worse and more so, but, the Liberal media ignores that.

Where do you think they learned it from? Probably seeing O'Reilly's success.

The guy has been on the asset/income side of the ledger for nearly a generation.

He moved himself to the liability/expense side of the ledger, or at least in the eyes of the younger Murdochs.

Simple as that. He gone.

He's reached settlements with 5 women totaling $13M. That's an admission of guilt.

Does that say that in the settlement documents?!?! If not, then it's b.s. Settlements happen all the time and they are definitely NOT always admissions of guilt.

thank you. LOL!

so full of himself.

I dislike Rush more, because Rush so often leads with

"I just don't understand"

O'Reilly is so well liked, he will be back on the air as soon as he pretends to aoologize.

I liked Bill's show.

I don't really see him as a sexual harassment guy

I definitely see him as a total piece of shite who is rude to everyone

I was never a fan. I understand people liked him. His style just wasn't for me.
