Bill and Hillary went full liberal after 1992. Never go full liberal. I'll give Clinton credit for his Sister Solja moment, but he gets no credit for the 90s economy or welfare reform. It's like Obama claiming credit for increased US energy production. They fought it all the way, and then jumped out in front of the parade when it was a success.

True. As much as it may seem to the contrary at times, most of us really do try to maintain a high standard.

Hold the phone, are you blaming W for the housing bubble? He had a hand but not 100%

I know that and appreciate it.

But it is also why the ready willingness to accept marginal behavior on part of the Clintons or Holder is so confounding.

not for much longer tho! Obama and W will rate as identical in getting nothing done and destroying the middle class in the 16 years of their worthless terms. Then again, the majority of America is in full apathy mode, so those who have suffered since 2000 and continue to do so and voted just once in the past 4 elections for either of those 2 clowns deserve what the hell they got!

Bush...Integrity? yeah I can still hear the guitar playing from out west. No matter what people think of W, no matter what religion you think he is, I truly feel he has a reserved place in the lowest level of hell for what he did during Katrina, and of course in Iraq. George W Bush, former president will burn in hell as he should...no one will ever convince me otherwise.

Then you are beyond help.
If you honestly still deflect blame from Nagin and Blanco, instead focusing on Bush that is wholly pathetic.

You have just proven your ignorance. There are things (conducted by President Bush) that I definitely don't agree with at all, but this is one of the dumbest statements that I have ever read in my life! You must be related to Kanye

Oh, I think they've treaded the line for sure.

ETA: Star was supposed to be an apolitical, unbiased special prosecutor, however.

I understand, but law knows no politics . . . or at least it shouldn't.

So whether one is supposed to be apolitical and is unethical, or one shares your particular political persuasions and is unethical, or one holds the most appalling political positions and is unethical, the law remains the law.

I suspect favorable politics and a friendly smile paint-over far too many transgressions which, if committed by someone "less appealing", would be considered horrendous by the same legal party.
