Assuming he supports rolling back weed legalization and reinforcing asset forfeiture, Sessions is a really bad pick and Trump would've been better off picking Ted Cruz who has moderately better views on the WOD and is actually a states rights guy.

Anyone else but a pro WOD and pro asset forfeiture guy.

Same here. Rand should filibuster if that is the case.

Elections have consequences. He's doing what he told you he'd do.

I agree wholeheartedly, and i know rand would. Sessions is as bad as Christie, which leads me back to questioning the judgement of our president elect.

Well, Rand better get his Nike's, his Snickers bar and Depends ready because that's exactly what's gonna happen.

Making America Great Again

Like the 1950's

And that's not even getting to the fact that Sessions is a career politician. When is the last time his paycheck did not come from the public coffers?

I'm hoping Rand can find some democrats to help him out on it and that will boost his numbers. All he would need then is a few willing republicans who are actually small government conservatives.

^^That is Trump's AG pick. He's filling his cabinet with his buddies, which is quite the opposite of what he said he'd do.

I had no illusions that I was going to like about 75% of what he does and dislike 25%

My other choice was someone whose policies I would hate 95%.

That's the equivalent of saying that if you like to drink a beer while watching the game, you're a raging alcoholic. Get a clue, old man.

Yep, that's what this is about. All we care about is marijuana and we have no ability to see the bigger picture and it's infringement on the rights of the states.

At least you're honest about it. Almost seems like some here are scared to criticize anything Trump does. A strange cult of personality developing here. It's ok to back him when he's in the campaign, but he's won.

His choices are going to affect us from here on out. It's ok to disagree with him.

I probably wouldn't be thrilled with any of his choices, but damn it if the Trump team didn't exceed my expectations for unhappiness. Glad to see proper conservatives drawing this line though.

It's hard to be surprised, he was the "law and order" candidate.

I've never touched one little nugget of weed ever in my life and I want it to be legal along with all other drugs at least decriminalized.

If you care about freedom and civil liberties, you will oppose Sessions as AG.

I have seen much disagreement about Trumps actions, especially the Sessions appointment. Republicans disagree with their politicians in infinitely more situations than democrats.
