Milo is nothing more than a person. people are fragile and flawed and will fail and that is why you don't invest in people when you're dealing with values/politics. this is why you invest in ideas. becoming too invested in people is one of those strange, cult-like things that becomes very sad when that person "dies". you see this with the "pantsuit nation" who still opine for Hillary and post statements/comics crying that she lost 3 months after the fact

so Milo has become nuclear. that's not important

Dave Rubin is still out there fighting the fight defending the right ideas

Ben Shapiro is still out there fighting the fight defending the right ideas

Gad Saad is still out there fighting the fight defending the right ideals

if any of them get popular enough, the coordinated media machine will do everything it can to grind them up and spit them out. the last thing the progressive movement will allow is for a "conservative" to become "cool" and popular, so you just have to live with the fact that any small faux pas will become nuclear (they won't dismiss past faux pas away like they did for people like Amy Schumer)

so Milo is dead. cast him aside. move on and support the next person down the line who promote the ideas that cannot be killed

Go for it, SFP. We're all behind you.

When's the press conference?

i could only imagine how many posts would be taken purely out of context to "Milo" me

last week i said that i support Islam b/c of my support of rape. obviously a joke about the absurdity of the hypocrisy of social progressives who defend Islam, but out of context i look like a monster

100% agree, but I don't think this is happening. We all get caught up in the person, both positive and negative perceptions, and the ideas go by the wayside.

It just seems like with social media and 24 hours news, this phenomenon is getting more exteme unfortunately.

IMO a big part of the reason that Milo has a target on his back is because Milo is a door to Breitbart. Breitbart is a door to Bannon and Bannon is a door to Trump.

that and he's gay and hes a jew....all pretty big targets. He def had the cards stacked against him but then again that was a big reason why he had so much attention from the get go.

Milo is a target because Dems put everyone into groups.

Identity politics is the core of their approach.

Milo is gay. Using their matrix he should be a solid, unwavering Democrat. He's not so they have to vilify him using all necessary means.

Agree.

Corrections.

Milo is "radioactive", not nuclear.

Your spell check probably changed "pine" to opine.

i think it is very possible that younger generations will end up seeing rebelling against liberal mantra as cool. it's hard to be "counter culture" when all the media and entertainment industry supports your views.

to an extent, but counter-cultures rebel against this very thing

just think about movies/music and how it transitions over time

the 80s were all fun with bright colors and synth pop and then you have the 90s roll around and it turns to dirty grunge/alt rock and gangsta rap in a blink. your 80s action movies and straight-laced comedies turned into drab indie flicks

Correct. They can't write him off as a white cis male. So they have to destroy him personally.

See Sarah Palin, Herman Cain, etc.

Democrats can't stand people not fitting into their boxes

Seems more like a pep talk than a melt to me.
