Roman Polanski and Amy Shumer? Really?

i'm saying there are other people out there who are more worthy of the attention Milo gets without any of the downsides
i've literally been posting about milo on here for years and before 95% of this board knew who he was i clearly said he had to be taken with a grain of salt b/c he gets himself in trouble by being too reliant on shock value. that behavior may be sinking him. fine. cast him aside. support Dave Rubin or Ben Shapiro or Gad Saad now. make them famous. i've been waiting for years for Dave Rubin to be the "gay face" of anti-PC, classic liberalism

this Milo situation is almost literally the same as the conversation had after Meryl Streep's speech b/c of her support of an admitted, convicted child rapist
and Amy Schumer said straight up racist jokes before she was the "it girl" and largely got a pass b/c of her politics and sex. it's the same situation where a now-famous person has an example of a toxic subject discussed in their past before they were a national brand. i didn't criticize her for her racist jokes b/c they were just jokes, fwiw

Rubin is playing to conservatives right now because he's gotten some attention from them recently but he's still left of center, just not in the way that's cherry picked on here as mainstream liberalism even though it really isn't.

Yup, he gone. He crossed the Rubicon and is now dissembling as he tries to get back to the other side after shooting his foot.
I would only add that he is not only a casualty of his own inability to self-regulate. There is also a very obvious and concerted effort to bring down any and all who contradict any narrative of the Far Left (in this instance, that the LGBTQRSTUVWXYZ -just wanted to be sure I didn't miss anyone- community's interest can only be served by the Far Left).

Poor guy is trying so hard to "get" somebody.

Yeah today's "liberalism" is nothing but identity politics and championing fringe sectors of society. I'd be embarrassed for myself if I ever identified myself as a liberal.

People who are comedians first tend to get more of a pass, but regardless she has never been a liberal commentator. And I still don't know where y'all are pulling Roman Polanski from. I don't know or care what Meryl's views on him are.

The problem is Milo fought the Left with its own vitriol, he beat them at their game and because of that he had to be taken out. He knew how to create a crowd and get his message out, he himself was his marketing package. Hard for guys like Benji and Dave to do that.

Wrong

Milo is a target because Dems put everyone into groups.
Identity politics is the core of their approach.
Milo is gay. Using their matrix he should be a solid, unwavering Democrat. He's not so they have to vilify him using all necessary means.
You are correct. He's a gay Jew that dates black guys. The left is powerless against him because they can't call him racist or homophobic. They actually have to debate him.
Just look at how many regressives have gave you a down vote.

I've been following Dave Rubin since he was on TYT, you really have no clue.

So, to clarify, you're telling me you know more about liberalism in 2017 than I do?
