I'm not sure you know what 'visceral' means. And he got drunk.. so fricking what? Are you Muslim or something?

Well that is his own fricking fault for that being virtually all he is known for.

Very sad I never got to meet Hitchens in person. He was fantastic.

I know a guy who interviewed him once. He said he was very friendly and had an encyclopedic knowledge of middle eastern history. That's as close as I ever came unfortunately.

William Lane Craig bettered Hitchens in a debate.

I just watched this again, and as I suspected this is complete bullshite. It wasn't even his best performance, and Hitchens still handled Craig's nonsense. Craig certainly didn't prove that "God exists." He spent his time on podium discussing the points he wanted to push and largely ignored anything that didn't fit with those.

bro, get on my level.

the New Atheist movement has moved well beyond religion and is primarily liberal thinkers who reject progressivism and SJWs/PC culture. it's academics like Hitchens, Dawkins, Sam Harris, Gad Saad and entertainers like Dave Rubin, Joe Rogan, etc

Confirmation bias. Most observers on both sides disagree. Do a Google search and see for yourself.

Those were just a few from the front page and the first link is another atheist site. That's 2 I found on the first page that disagree with you.

The same could easily be said of you.

You're linking forums and Reddit. Let's not forget that Rex at one point had you people convinced that he was Republican.

Most capable of leaving any bias aside would admit that this debate wasn't really much of a debate. It was two opinionated men stating their positions and largely ignoring their opponent. In the theme of "Does God exist?" Craig certainly lost.

This brings memories of several "atheists" claiming that Ham won...

"Decent" is subjective...evidence is another matter

On the flip side, just because there is evidence, doesn't make it 100% true

Nope

Not according to his own thoughts and speeches.

Dead gone and no reason to care about him anymore.

In 100 years like most of us, no one will ever even remember his or our names.

Ontological argument, Cosmological argument, Anthropic Principle for starters.

What "decent evidence" do you have that God doesn't exist? Yet, that's what you obviously believe.

By the way, study the Argument from Silence logical fallacy before you respond.
