Lost my uncle to pretty much the same thing in 2003. He was 51.

Prayers for his family and the repose of his soul.

Man, that's tough. So sorry for your loss. BTW, a pulmonary embolism, if that's what this was, happens in your lungs. It's also been a documented potential side effect of COVID. We had a housing employee at UGA, 39 I think, who was the first death of a campus employee and this was the cause. Had Scoop ever said anything about having it? Was he feeling okay leading up to this weekend?

This stinks, especially knowing how much he wanted to see this election go for Trump. Let's win one for Scoop!!!

Godbless and Godspeed. Prayers to all affected.

Don't belabor the details, but this was obviously sudden. It wasn't until I was his age that I noticed a sudden rise in blood pressure. Went to the doc and I had a blockage almost completely closed. Got a stint. Had I not caught this, I would have had a stroke at minimum. Diet, exercise didn't bring it down. So, I take meds for it, and calcium blockers. It has worked. So far. Guys, take your heart seriously. Check you blood pressure regularly. It's a silent killer if you ignore it.

Listen to this guy. This is the biggest lesson I have learned from this so far. My brother was an EXCELLENT nurse. His patients sung his praises. But he didn’t look out for his own health and avoided going to the doctor. Our families need us men. Don’t take your health for granted.

My brother was a private person so I think I’ll pass on posting that. Also, I know you guys a crazy good at figuring these things out so if you do figure it out I’d really appreciate you not posting it hear. He wouldn’t want that.

That's right... he was a compassionate, humble nurse. I almost forgot. I know like all of us he was shocked at the media in our country.

Understood. I am the same way! I just thought I would ask. And no worries no one would figure it out nor dare post anything.
