I figured out why Democrats are pushing this vaccine so damn hard. They need a scapegoat.

The unvaccinated will be the equivalent to jews in 1930s Germany. Hitler and the Germans blamed all of their downfalls and shortcomings on the jews and placed it all on them.
That is what the unvaccinated will be and its why there is such a push to get vaccinated. It is setting the table for the unvaccinated to be the boogeyman, the scapegoat for everything bad that happens, especially unpopular mandates and legislation pushed by the government.
I saw it unfold in the /r/LosAngeles subreddit. Did they get mad at the LA County government for bringing back mask mandates? No! They are getting mad at the unvaccinated. It's all their fault.
So when the Biden administration advocates for more lockdowns, more mask mandates, less freedoms, less liberty, vaccine passports, they are hoping that the American people get mad at their boogeyman, the unvaccinated, instead of the tyrannical government
"Well we didn't HAVE to do more lockdowns and mask mandates, but those uneducated Trump supporting anti-vaxxers decided not to do the right thing!"
That is what this is all about...

Problem is that the vaccine doesn’t appear to be effective and, in a number of cases, appears to be about as dangerous as the virus.
If the difference between catching COVID and having complications vs getting the shot and having complications is about equal, why get the shot? Especially since it doesn’t seem to be stopping COVID.

So I support people's right to not get vaccinated absolutely and think that any forced vaccination effort (public or private) is bullshite and should be disallowed by law.
I also think there should be no lockdowns or any mitigation measures anymore for vaccinated or un-vaccinated people.
However, to say the vaccines are ineffective is just dumb. What I'm hearing from doctors in my area (Lafayette) is that 99% of the people in the hospital now are not vaccinated and I've yet to talk to one where they confirm a vaccinated person died (yes I know it has happened but not in my area).

Yep...they are bumping the PCR testing threshold back up to 40+ as we speak.

Yes. This is similar to the all of the BLM stuff and the political shenanigans of the last few years in that it is about dehumanization. Getting us all to see each other as subhuman so that we object less when bad things happen to other people.

A big block of the unvaccinated are people of color who correctly don’t trust the government. Setting them up in the way you’re describing would be problematic for the current Dem establishment.

I think that is a pretty good analysis of why the vaccines are being pushed so hard....it boils down to money and political power...mostly money.
