But in his budget he slashes spending on infrastructure spending, this makes absolutely no sense.

Don't get me wrong, if you think the gvt spends too much, that now is not the time, that it should be done by the states, okay fine. I disagree, but fine.

But it makes no sense to cut something on Monday to add it back on Tuesday.

I'm still waiting on Joe Bidens report on how the stimulus was spent for infrastructure.

You know where I can find it?

Obama said Biden would be his bulldog. Link it if you can.

He wants to the former for the accolades.

He didn't write that budget so probably doesn't even know infrastructure cuts are in it.

One time spending is a big difference from adding it to the budget because of baseline budgeting.

Don't you expect more of Trump, or is this how you'll justify him being no different on spending?

If only...
The I-10 widening from the bridge to college is included, but not the loop. There are some improvements to the Causeway and some river dredging and port improvements included, though.

I'm as leery of "infrastructure" as I was of "replacing" Obamacare.

Obamacare 2.0 aka Ryancare was a major disappointment.

But. I'm willing to "compromise" a little one time serving of pork, if the GOPe big government "moderates" go along with long term tax restructuring that returns long term fiscal sanity.

Crossing my fingers.

As long as it's real infrastructure this time, I'm cool with it.
