If you can't see how Trump is getting attacked from everyone (Dem's, MSM, The intelligence community, Washington establishment, and even his own party) in ways that no other president has, then I don't know what to say to you.

No other president, in the history of America, has had to overcome the intense war that Trump is receiving.

Trump is anti-establishment. He's not a token front man like his predecessors were (Clinton, Bush, and Obama). These guys all had serious power in their corner. They only had to fight the other side, not everyone, like Trump is.

Reagan didn't attack immigrants and religious groups. Big difference between Reagan and Trump is that Reagan didn't hate on as many people as Trump.

No other President in recent history has had such a turbulent first month on the job either. Some the criticism is off base, and maybe a but unfair, but a lot of it is warranted. He and his staff bring a lot of it on themselves. I mean just last night you had two representatives of his administration(Conway and Spicer) give 2 completely different narratives on the Flynn situation.

Trump has been his own worst enemy with several things he has said, but........... His immigration policy and statements and his attack on Extreme Islam is highly justified. It's one of the huge reasons he was elected.

The left is seriously becoming un American

The left has become uncivilized...and that includes the politicians. After Nov. 8th, never in my life have I witnessed people come this unhinged. You got the protests/riots, Schumer with his acting skills, a musicians getting death threats. Now all they have left are these little (in their minds) victories. Trumps temporary travel ban blocked by three hack judges is a "victory"...ignoring the fact of it's purpose. The Flynn resignation another liberal "victory". It's all they got and it's pathetic. Their pathetic attempts when they get to use words like, "melt, "snowflakes", etc. It's cute, but doesn't work. I am sure some gay little lib will post that I am "triggered". I am just pointing out the obvious, so frick you in advance.

Reagan didn't really get rolling until 1983 and then he won 49 states in 1984.

I believe you. The thing is I wouldn't know cause I don't listen to or read the liberal media. I pay them no mind and I suggest everyone else tune them out as well. These people should not be taken seriously unless they resort to violence then they can be dealt with.

That's what the Obamabots were saying when Joe Wilson screamed "you lie!" at Obama during a speech to a joint session.

Regardless of whatever you think of Obamacare, Obama or Wilson - it was an unprecedented affront.

And isn't that your point? Unprecedented affronts to the President?

It's fun when it happens to the other guy, but you cry when it happens to yours.

Spot on. These guys seem to forget all of the disgusting shite they said about Obama and Clinton. Now they are crying about the attacks on Trump. This board is full of dishonest hypocrites.

The citizenry reinforces the culture. People on this very board have bitched about Senators from opposite sides of the aisle getting a drink or playing golf together.

The citizenry has its government. It's not some inexplicable tumor growing on an otherwise healthy body.

But most of this is overblown. Policy all aside, if the President just tries to play the part a little bit he'll get a big break.

The left has become militant.

I don't know how anyone could think differently.

We live in this world full of made up bullshite where the media portrays Trump voters as violent and scary when all we really see is the left being violent and scary.

I am in my 40's and have paid close attention to politics for at least 25 years.

The cognitive dissonance on the left right now is the most frightening thing I've seen in my lifetime regarding domestic politics. They riot and rage against false narratives. They use violence without apology pretending they are resisting a counter movement which doesn't exist. They are rioting against straw men.

The left is fricking crazy.

It is populated by street soldiers that do not even have basic understanding of what they are rioting/protesting against.

None of this ends well.

What's more, they are in every sense a "crossing of the Rubicon" in American politics. The poisonous climate is DC is metastasizing and the citizenry is going to suffer.

I lay this squarely at the feet of the Left and I pray that the GOP will find a backbone and that Trump will soldier on.

Trump is not experiencing anything that Obama didn't go through...no one in washington has yelled "you lie"....y'all really need to quit melting when you lose and when you win....it is very unbecoming...

I was reading a DU thread of Canada's PM and Trump and they were pulling for the Canadian PM over Trump the way one college teams fans pull for their own against another.

"Oh I love how he swapped from English to French it caught Trump Off his game and now he is shaken"

I mean seriously un American. I despised Obama. But I never once "pulled" for a foreigner to make him look dumb.

Rish Limbaugh openly admitted that he hoped Obama failed....y'all were worse when Obama was elected and he actually managed to get more votes than the opposition AND his own party was happy to have him....Trump's own party is ashamed of him....

I despise the "literally Hitler" type attacks.

But what did you expect to happen? It's a major reason he won, but Trump went after restlessly went and continues to go agree anybody and everbody, from the GOP primary (the 1% poll # insult directed at Rand; insinuating Cruz's father may have been involved in JFK assassination) until now.

He's personally attacked, often even threatening:

1. The media (and not without merit), even suggesting making it easier to sue for libel

2. The intelligence community.

3. Both the GOP and the Ds.

4. Private citizens.

5. Private companies

6. Saturday Night Live

6. The cast of Hamilton.

7. Foreign leaders

8. And on and on.

Again, many deserve criticism, but he often made it personal, even threatening them. So what did you expect? That they wouldn't fight back?

And how can you support Trump for taking it to everbody, then become outraged that they bring it back? If you like him dishing it out, don't complain like you (or Trump) can't take take it.

Rush Limbaugh said he hoped Obama failed with respect to his policies that would damage us as they did.

That horseshite talking point is 9 years old.

I can't fricking believe some a-hole would come here and post a 9 year old, horsehit, out of context talking point.

Pathetic.

It is amazing to me how many tims Republicans have to be burned by the same shite. My entire life has seen all pub presidents treated this way. We need to stop worry about all they say about us. If you do what you say in office, you will be reelected 95% of the time.

Well you see how the left has its citizens outraged? The Rs need citizens to do the same and show support or show its disagreement when needed. There needs to be more organization on the rights part to combat this are it will grow out of control. They will not stop until they get what they want or someone gets hurt in the process. It's pathetic. It's time for the right grassroots to march down to Washington and show its power in numbers! If the left can do it so can we. It really needs to be done to show our support for this movement, and that's what it is. We want change or at least I do and I'll take my arse down there in a heartbeat. Time for someone to organize it to look very supportive and powerful.
