I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again

It wouldn’t surprise me, I think I know why, but who all orchestrated this scam.

I think it was overblown but it’s not a hoax. The threat is real. You can look at New York and see that it’s real.

ETA - the lethality of the virus is yet to be established but there are guesses. The unique thing about this one is how long it lives on surfaces. Look at subways in New York City and Mardi Gras in New Orleans and look at their numbers.

I'm so thankful for doctors like you who are brave enough to tell us that there is no corona-19 virus, that people aren't getting sick, that no one is dying and there is no reason to take any of the stupid precautions, and that nothing the news is reporting is actually happening.

Are my kids going to read about this in the history books, as “the great outbreak of 2020”?

Well since historians are more leftist than "journalists" probably.

Be brave!

Depends on what you mean by "this".
The virus or the reaction to it of shutting down about everything?

Just like they believe FDR got us out of the Great Depression.

What would been the death toll had nothing been done ? Where would the line have been drawn that would have been the “perfect” solution?

First of all you’re welcome.

Secondly, who is dying?

fake? no, I don't know anyone who thinks there isn't an actual virus that has killed people.

what people do think though is that our reaction to it (shutting down the entire economy having the government demand we stay in our houses) is a bit of overkill that is in the long run going to cost us more than the virus itself.

You can already feel a shift. This weekend is where the tide will turn. Some with no paychecks. Some ready to choke their wife or husbands from being around them for days on end.

Monday or Tuesday of next week, you're going to start seeing some pissed off mother frickers start coming out.

Most people I know and do business with don’t feel duped. They feel our government, media, and the world community drastically over-reacted.

It takes a special kind of idiot to use the results of an effective strategy as proof that the same strategy was a bad idea.
