As far as Appalachia goes I think the biggest indicator is being cut of from the rest of society and lack of jobs and proper education in the middle of the mountains. Those that got out headed up the Hillbilly hwy to the industrial north. Those that stayed were more complacent or just didn't have the means to up and leave and probably satisfied with scratching out a living in the mountains and there offspring the same. The cycle continues.

I haven't read any of this thread, but my first impression is that I won't read your thread. it presupposes that there is actually a relevant portion of the population that fits the definition of "white nationalist". Which there isn't in reality, in any substantial number. Only in the made up world of MSM click bait/hyperbole and internet blogs.

I was thinking about this the other day. White Nationalist. This seems to be the left's new buzz word for racist but when I thought about it's just ludicrous. I am white, I believe that countries should have strict border control, preserve their culture, put their citizens first, and maintain the values that historically have been cornerstones of the population. So I guess that makes me a "white nationalist" which according to left is super evil? Oh well.
