Unreal. If they try this in Dallas this could get ugly. The Dallas Morning News is basically a communist rag to the 3rd degree.

Dallas, it's time to bring down old confederate monuments, and our mayor looks ready to do it
James Ragland, Columnist
The Confederate generals who loom in granite-and-marble glory over two historic Dallas parks may be standing on borrowed time.
Excuse me while I let this out: Yippee!
Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings won't come right out and say this, but he willingly, if somewhat reluctantly, tips his hand.
"Personally," Rawlings said, "I'm careful about espousing my point of view too much but not ashamed to do it. Slavery was the greatest sin that America ever participated in and we need to appropriately own up to that and move beyond it."
When we have "historical reminders" such as the towering statues of Confederate stars planted in public parks, "it's concerning," he said.
With Rawlings' blessing — or insistence — Dallas is finally digging into how it should handle the Confederate symbols that dot the city's landscape and calculating what it would take to remove, relocate or alter the memorials to add historical context.
Two of the four highly visible monuments have drawn the most public attention: Robert E. Lee Park and the statue bearing the Confederate general's name in Oak Lawn. And the Confederate War Memorial, a 60-foot pillar topped with a Confederate soldier and surrounded by three Confederate luminaries in the heart of downtown Dallas.

Both the Dallas Morning News and Fort Worth Star Telegram are garbage liberal communist rags. And they wonder why their subscribership has dropped like a rock.

dallas has a feral dog problem. literally packs of wild dogs are roaming south dallas.
but....but....but....muh confederate monuments!
A week after she was mauled in southern Dallas by a pack of dogs, the 52-year-old woman who was bitten more than 100 times has died.
Antoinette Brown, who had been in a medically induced coma, died Monday night, said Dallas City Council member Tiffinni Young, who learned of the death from the woman's family.
Brown was heard screaming for help as she was attacked early May 2 in the 3300 block of Rutledge Street. She spent a week wrapped in bandages and clinging to life after the dogs peeled off skin, exposing muscles and tendons.
Brown's mother said the attack was akin to the dogs eating her
thanks democrat party!

The Dallas City Council is and has been a rolling freak show of misfits for years, now. I am amazed the city does as well as it does with this shat show always lurking in the shadows

I lived in DFW for almost 15 years and didn't even know these statues existed. Never heard a single person ever mention them. That's how prominent they are. Just more Democrats & liberals looking for an excuse to bitch & moan. It's no wonder why all the working class people live outside the Dallas city limits. Dallas should focus on cleaning up their ghettos instead.

Lived in Dallas area my whole life except for undergrad at LSU. This is the same city that can't get a Cowboys stadium built downtown or in Fair Park. Can't make sure it's police and firemen have a solvent pension. Build a fancy bridge that goes from downtown to an underdeveloped neighborhood. And they let aconvicted felon sit on the search committee for the new police chief.
Everyone I talk to, regardless of where they live, thinks the city council makes some really stupid decisions. They tried for years to build a freeway in a flood plain. Then proceeded to build a PGA level golf course on a landfill; it's built in an area called Trinity Forest and there are no trees left on the course.
There's a lot to like about this town, but it succeeds bc everyone pretty much ignores the leadership.

This will stop all future crime in Dallas for sure.

Lee Park is in a nice area, Turtle Creek. You wouldn't know it's there unless you drove by. I knew this was coming after what happened in NOLA.

Dallas is the next Detroit. White Democrats will use the black population and spit them out while they move away, leaving them in a hellhole of epic proportions. That's what the Democratic Party does.
In fact, the city of Dallas just hired as police chief, a black female from Detroit. Oh lawd...

Communists can be racists, too. Maybe at heart, the white liberal editorial writers felt queasy about a black president and knew what it would do to their industry (increase more uninformed people by urging them to put their heads in the sand like good Democrats).
The DMN has definitely come a long way from this, to fawning over Hussein for eight years:

"Fawning over Hussein" = endorsing McCain in 2008 and Romney in 2012. Got it.
Posted on 7/19/17 at 1:23 pm to Iosh
Yes, fawning over Hussein. I don't remember any opposition to Obamacare or the Medicaid expansion or the Iran deal or .... or... or... or all that other shite Hussein fricked up.
In that regard, they have been devoted Hussein apologists. Why? He black.
