I bashed Trump for support of his last bill. Like I said earlier, Republicans don't have to walk in lock-step like democrats.

Spaulding - I thought you guys wanted to watch Obamacare blow up in democrats' face after last Friday's asswhoopin'?
Trump said he was waiting for the Obamacare failure until coming back to it.

Again. That was what Trump himself said.

How is using Trump's own words melting?

How is calling last week's failure, a failure, melting?

You can't pay for it on your own without the government?

Yes, but I'm not sure for how long considering the only provider available to me through my employer is BCBS.

Trump learned a lot; he's a quick study. He let Ryan run the show; Ryan is soft.

That said, there is NO WAY around dealing with paying for sick people who can't pay...in some way shape or form. Trump said as much: "we are not going to stand by and let people die on the side of the road". The only question remaining will be if/what the QUALIFIERS are for poor folk to gain ACCESS to care. And there should and must be a least a start for minimal qualifiers which no sane individual could oppose.

The next move will be substantial.

I heard from the 4D chessticians that Obamacare was going to be kept around as a wedge issue for the 2018 midterms. All part of Trump's diabolical plan. Keep your story straight, guys.

I was also told Trump wanted to keep it around so it would implode in the Dems face.

I can't keep up. Trump it just to far ahead of everyone.

Because of few (very few) of us were saying that its just a negotiating tactic. But this board was in full blown 'Kentucky just tied it' celebration!!. Until UNC hit the game winning shot

So the melt is them now trying to claim they are still right, dammit! Its still a colossal failure, and wont ever get fixed, and we're being lied to, and they know this unseen plan is crap, and we've had 7 years but gonna fix it in a week, and the Senate will kill it. They are HOT, and ANGRY, and MELTing because by May Trump will have kept his promise

You actually think they're worried about this? I'm not sure exactly where the modal lib response to this would fall, but if I had to guess it'd be somewhere between , , or just

Negotiating tactic, to get people upset with him, so that they have to come back to the table?

It was a failure. Nothing changes that; although they can make up for it.

Except everyone here seems to be upset that they messed up the first time; they want the issue to he fixed.

You're just making up a bunch of strawmen, and it's odd.

(Spoiler alert: there isn't)

He is! It's all in that book he didn't write but slapped his name on...this healthcare thing is just a chess game man!

I think its been proven beyond a shadow, that Trump doesn't mind people getting upset with him.

Lifelong politicians, however?

I was told that I was melting because I started threads on here calling out libtards for celebrating something that would soon be fixed. And yet . . . .

Just days ago, trump was threatening republicans to vote for Ryan's bill.

He made a plea on the White House instagram for people to call their representatives and demand they vote for the ACHA

Then when his own party told him that this bill was a piece of shite and they would not vote for it, he pulls it himself.

That sounds like the angry kid playing chess who tosses the board over when he knows he's about to get beat

But he doesn't want to be a result of a failure.

Well we knew they had to come back to it eventually.

But why would he push a failed policy, which resulted in the criticism, forcing him back to fixing the failure in the first place?

It's as if some think he purposely planned to push a failed policy, and rather than admitting he messed just up.

They cheered and jumped around at the half time score. Now theyre angry because the teams have come out for the 2nd half

It was silly

Who are you talking about? People in this thread WANT it to be fixed.

He failed the first time. It wasn't halftime; it was a complete game, and he lost that one. It's a dumb analogy.
