Have we ever figured out why Liberals want a war with Russia?

Hillary started pushing hard for it during the election and now the Failure in Chief is. Why does their boss (Soros) want to fight Putin so bad?

Globalism and profits.
War is profitable and politicians have started it many times before for that purpose.
On top of that, that country is heavily anti-globalism. The Leftists and Soros can't have that.

I think the current push has alot to do with the DNC finding a scapegoat for their failure in the election and undermining Trump legitimacy to help their future causes. Mix a little neocon support for the MIC, and you have a full blown antitrump establishment irrational temper tantrum.

its what the saudis want, dems do as they're told. We only import oil from our allies

I think the main reason was to distract and cover up from what would have been damaging Clinton foundation leaks about various levels of corruption, some of which would have been death penalty worthy

Putin started the antiglobalism bandwagon

Putin is doing for Russia what Trump is about to do for the US. Putin takes care of Russian citizens before everyone else which is what a president is suppose to do and this is totally in the face of their globalist BS.

Soros wants it. What Soros wants, Soros gets.

Because it is personal. Politicians only care about themselves and they are the least introspective people on the planet.
What are they supposed to say. We ran a bad campaign (makes them look like they are incompetent).
The American people in several key states prefer the other candidate (makes them unpopular/the worst for a politician).
The people prefer a different ideology (this makes no sense as their world view is obviously self-evident/ although some can live with this as they can argue that the people just need to be better educated).
Or something else conspired against them, so sinister that it requires their heroic efforts to destroy it.
In some ways this was the Mainstream Media for Republicans over the past eight years, perhaps even longer.
What else can the Democrats logically blame based on these constraints?

Europe and especially the UK were all set and ready to go with globalism. BRexit happened. The US electing Trump put a huge monkey wrench in their plans. The US was to be the last to fall. The progs only needed to sign up with the UN and all their laws, gun bans and international courts.
Russia needs to conform so the democrats and GOPe neocons need to put Russia in place as well as pay back all of their wealthy crony deals in donors. (Soro's utopia of globalism- on down)
But bottom line now is $$$$$$$$$; and don't think for one moment the GOPe is not all in with war hawking. They have insider crony deals just like the dems. Never forget they are the uniparty.

Yeah that is BS. Putin is a former KGB agent. Just like the US Marines concept- he is never FORMER. Russia's economy sucks right now. Putin cares about his people-- as much as the US democrats, GOPe do-- about the US economy. Not at all. They give lip service but that's it.

they dont. you and your kind have simply made this up to defend the strangely cozy relationship that Trump and Putin have.

His father was a POW captured by the Russian army but was able to survive the ordeal. That was the family's first bad experience dealing with Russians.
Although Soros' family was Jewish, having changed their Jewish family name from Schwartz to Soros, but because of their wealth were able to purchase forged documents saying they were Christians, which is how they survived the German occupation of Hungary during WWII.
The Soros family was still in Budapest, Hungary when the Russian army fought house to house to oust the Germans and then the family lived under the brutal Russian occupation for 3 years when they were able to flee to England.
Both his father's POW experience with the Russians and the Russian occupation and absorbing of Hungary into a Soviet satellite state turned Soros into a strong anti-Russian advocate.

The prime movers are the international bankers and the MIC, military industrial complex...ole Ike warned us in his parting speech way back when!

The Saudis and Kuwaitis paid them for a pipeline through Syria. Russia doesn't want this because that would cut into their golden goose of selling oil and gas to the EU.
It really is that simple.

It's all about the pipeline, man. Trump and Clinton each had a different strategy to combat Russia: confrontation vs detente.
Clinton, as well as most moderate republicans (looking at you John McCain who has a picture taken of him meeting with ISIS leaders in Syria) wanted to arm Syrian militants to ouster the Assad regime and replace it with a puppet government in order to get a natural gas pipeline built from Qatar to Greece. This would allow Western Europe to get their gas without having to go through Russia. Russia, in trying to keep their monopoly, backed Assad, so that they could build a pipeline from Iran through Syria to Russia to keep their near monopoly on gas supplies in Europe.
In the meantime, Trump took the opposite approach. Trump was willing to allow Russia to win in Syria (us winning meant ISIS toppling Assad which wouldn't exactly be a good thing for anyone) and control the pipeline, allowing Russia to "win", but at the same time support aggressive expansion of pipelines in North America to get oil and gas from Canada south to Houston and Louisiana where we are building massive LNG facilities that allow us to cheaply compress natural gas into a liquid form that is economical to ship to Europe. The Trump version, Putin keeps his monopoly on pipelines, but we make that monopoly meaningless by making shipping it just as cheap as buying it from Russian pipelines.
The reason Clinton couldn't take this approach was her supporters. She had initially tried the detente strategy while Secretary of State, even making a landmark deal with Russia that sold them massive U.S. uranium deposits and spearheading what would become the Iran nuclear deal.
However, Democrats are heavily against the Dakota Access and Keystone Pipelines, and one of her biggest money donors, Warren Buffet is as well. See, Warren Buffet owns the railroads currently used to transport that oil and gas from Canada down to the Gulf Coast. If the pipelines were built, those exporters and oil companies would no longer need to pay him to transport their product. Clinton did not anticipate her party being so against the pipeline. Since she couldn't support using American pipelines and fossil fuel exploration to break the Russian monopoly, she took money from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, and Kuwait to get them a pipeline directly to Europe, bypassing Russia.
