Looks like they deleted stars from each level of the scale (though a considerably higher percentage of one-star ratings were deleted).

Just sent this to Matt Drudge.

I'm hoping he can get independent verification and post something about it.

seriously?? those were not deleted, those were people changing their vote on their original rating.

the 20,000 were clearly deleted.

According to your screenshots, that's only a difference of about 18,000.

I don't know anything about how that stuff works.
I just quickly eye-balled the numbers.
Wasn't trying to call you out or anything!

While I do t doubt twitter google and others will do anything for the left I don't think this is uncommon.

I recall yelp deleting one stars when LSU fans attacked the place in destin

i wasn't challenging you, just explaining that 200 or so less '4 stars' ratings is people going back in and changing their vote.

thats common...18,000 ratings disappearing outright..?

not so much

keep in mind these are people who have provided google with credit cards and personal information and use their products/android phones

this isn't a bunch of anon users gaming an online poll. google simply doesn't like what people are saying so they decided to play judge & jury.

frick GOOGLE

The market for electronics all being in California's kind of annoying.

I would argue if a large number of the general public suddenly decides for some reason (any reason) they want to shite on an international media conglomerate, it might be more relevant (meaningful?) than suddenly doing it to some mom and pop restaurant.

Google should be public with their rationale here.

Can't blame them. Those were mostly troll reviews that had to do with the owner and not the app, but it's still sad that it boosted their rating back up.
