In fairness, plenty thought about the GOP as recently as early November

He would have to flip all the "I voted against Hillary" votes (a very substantial number IMO).

But, at the same time, can the dems find a worse candidate than Hillary? So far, it looks like they're gonna do their best.

I laugh at them saying they are looking for blue dog dem candidates to run in 2018.

Who do the Dems have for 2020? Pocahontas? Cryin Chuck? The Rock?

I agree with that. I think Biden would have smoked Trump in 16 and would likely destroy him next cycle. Of course, to HHTM's point, it will obviously depend on whats going on.

As to whether Trump will stay 4 years. I scoffed at the Russia thing for a long time, especially with the media driving it into the ground, but the Trump Jr. meeting looks really bad to me. Showing at least an eagerness on the part of the Trump admin to work with the Russians. I don't know if Mueller and crew will necessarily find anything along the lines of collusion that presents a problem for Trump himself, but I think there's some potential for some high level admin players to go down.

I also wonder what else gets dug up on Trump that might not be directly related to collusion during the election and would not completely write off the notion of him getting into some legal trouble. Im skeptical of impeachment though.

I'll bite.

I don't think he sees the end of this term. That isn't what I want, per se, but where I see it heading.

My preference would be for him to see out his 4 years with out entering us into major military conflict.

Trump has shady relationships. I don't consider him honest. He stabs a lot of people in the back and never really owns anything that happens to him unless it's "Great."

He over exaggerates things and his son has proven to be a liar

I was all in on "No" back in May. But I see the light now. He won't get impeached. He will be gone after 4 though.
