Perhaps millions. If you want to save trillions, you need actually enforced policies for when they are in here. It is naive to think a single (or non-contiguous now) structure is going to stop people from lapsing visas, coming by boat (with the drugs) coming from Canada, or forging docs and driving/flying over. We need to enforce what is on our books more than anything.

You do realize, that even if we pay for the wall 100% out of pocket,
it will more than pay for itself almost IMMEDIATELY> Even if Mexico never gives us a penny?
Lowering the cost of our immigration fight, war on drugs, etc etc.
Too many people are short sighted regarding this. We are spending exactly HOW MUCH on illegal aliens every year??????
So does not letting anymore cost burdens in, not save us money??????????????????/
The problem isn't illegal immigration, it's the establishment that robs us to create such problems. Building a wall isn't going to fix that.
ETA: And if you think Trump isn't aware of this, then you deserve what you get.
Keep chasing your own tails, folks, your owners depend on it.

So now Obama is the standard measure? Wow, you Trumpophants are really reaching for the stars, huh? You've gone from MAGA to MASBTO in less than 100 days. Make America Slightly Better Than Obama
I thought so. Doesn't the media and democrats consider him the best president ever? I figure that's a good measuring stick. Being totally serious.
I'm not a Trump fan, so you don't have to use the witty play on Trump's name as a slight at me. Trumpophants? Seriously? That's pretty fricking stupid. All the dumbass name calling is.

The only time eminent domain should ever be constitutional is when it deals with life or death.
I heard an example awhile back that was perfect as to what I mean by this.
If it is about $$$$ they can go to hell. If it is about 'protection' they can go to hell.
Anyone who gives up their freedom for protection deserves neither. Have a problem with that quote, take it up with Ben Franklin.
Eminent domain has been used ruthlessly throughout this country. One of the worse stories involved an elderly lady who the local body politic used extremely abusive measures to have her moved off her property. They used laws that were pure shite.
I care about every case. The one sheep that is lost I'll protect their freedom.
The problem is not with how it is reported. The problem is that it is even possible to do it in the first place. If lives aren't at stake-as in immediate life or death situation--they have zero right.
If people aren't compensated beyond the price: If their property is appraised for $400,000, then they should receive a flexible amount far surpassing that amount. It should be almost not even worth doing it for them to even try it. It will cut down on abuse and help make sure that it is not a profit for unbecoming people above those unfortunate souls that lose their land.
This is a non-issue.

Congratulations. You've reached for the RA button. That makes you the loser of the argument.
for admitting it though.

Only people who contribute more than they take, should EVER be allowed in our country.
undocumented immigrants alone paid more than $11.8 billion in taxes in 2012.
And with very few exceptions (such as access to medical care for victims of human trafficking), undocumented immigrants are not eligible for federal public benefits such as Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare and food stamps. In addition, most immigrants with lawful status are not entitled to these benefits until they have been in the country for five years or longer. This means that Social Security is often being deducted from immigrants’ paychecks but they cannot access those benefits.
but you were saying....

Based on the numbers posted in this thread, illegal immigrants costs taxpayers around $60Billion/year. 60-11= huge net loss.
I hate it for the good people trying to come here to better their family's life, but there are laws.

If the democrats thought illegals were voting Republican; you'd be able to see the wall from space.
