Pretty sure that Federal district court decisions apply nationwide when it comes to Constitutional issues. 9th Circuit will need to step in and overrule.

Sounds like the judge is not saying it is an illegal EO but the AG has grounds to continue. Well would be some shite if there is a terrorist attack in the US in the next couple weeks while they hash this out.

If the 9th doesn't undo it, Trump should instruct DHS to bring every fricking one of those "refugees" to the homes of the judges that have ruled against it

The Constitution? Federal courts have original jurisdiction over Constitutional issues. The Washington district court is the highest federal court to rule on the issue at this point so it's the law of the land until it goes up through the 9th Circuit and then potentially SCOTUS.

Actually, no. The District Court in Boston has equal standing. Trump could ignore the Washington ruling based on the Boston ruling.

Article III to be more specific. Then again, Article II has some things to say about the authority of the of the President.

W appointee. This will eventually be struck down or, more likely, limited. As should happen.

I don't think that the Boston court made a ruling, only declining to extend the temporary restraining order, no?

I think you'd be surprised to learn what the effect of a circuit split is. This is essentially that, just at a lower level.
