Yes, and those who thought that are wrong. Many of us know what a horrible President that Bush was.

He's not a state judge, he's a federal district judge. No, the President still cannot just fire him.

Takes impeachment from congress. The House would need a simple majority vote to start the process, but the senate needs 2/3rd to find a judge "guilty" and remove.

Not russeled at all. It is simple math with so many suits filed by the left there was bound to be a judge somewhere that was going to give them a stay. Just like asking every girl out one will eventually say yes. The real problem will be going forward if the Judicial branch rule that the Executive has no control over immigration then we in effect have open borders. At that point every value and tradition Americans hold dear and payed for with Blood is gone. Just gotdamn sad.

Maybe he does. He just has to have a reason to, that isn't simply "just because". With something that drastic, it would immediately be challenged in courts, just like this has been, demanding evidence pointing to why the border has been shut to all commerce and people.

Funny because the Arizona case went to the Supreme Court and they ruled the federal government has authority over immigration

Precedent has been set

You tell others they are "melting" but you are on an uncontrollable posting binge right now. Seems the melt is still strong with you. You have a lot of pent up anger still. You lost the war but are celebrating some minor firefight.

The way this is being played out it seems rolls have reversed since the election. Before Trump the Feds wanted to rule against the states for immigration laws. Now the states want to rule over the Feds to interfere with the President and the Executive Branch.

Most of the 50-plus lawsuits filed so far relate to the travel ban on refugees and nationals from seven mostly-Muslim countries that Trump ordered on Jan. 27.

Ruling in that case seems fairly irrelevant to Trump's ban. No one one is arguing the Fed doesn't have authority to regulate immigration. That power, however, is not unfettered. As has been verified by numerous Federal judges in recent days.

Even if it tanks, it´ll be stronger than it´s ever been. Tank, good God. The bubble is there, but it´s not a whole entity, the residue will keep it stronger than it was when the previous person was there in body and name.

Minnesota was joined in on this lawsuit with Washington, and Virginia is asking the government for a list of "all persons who have been denied entry to or removed from the United States."
