The forensics have already been produced for a murder that happened months ago. So at a minimum, this cover up would involve the DNC, the D.C. police, and the FBI.
If the DNC wanted him dead, they would have done it a different way. There's no reason to involve that many people only to pull off a sloppy murder in the middle of a public street.

Apparently though they were good enough to manage the following,
(1) Ensure that bodycam footage of Seth was suppressed
(2) Ensure that the cops called out to the scene didn't blab anything
(3) Find and suppress up to 19 videos of the attack.
(4) Ensure that the EMTs who handled Seth didn't blab anything
(5) Have a friendly resident in the hospital to take care of Seth.
(6) Ensure that none of the hospital staff blabbed anything
(7) Expertly neutralize Seth's parents by the simple fact of appointing a spokesman (who could be easily circumvented by reaching out to Sean Hannity or Breitbart or any number of other places)
(8) Protect all documents that coordinated this effort. These being basically the only emails Wikileaks hasn't gotten their hands on.
Yeah this theory is really pure Occam's razor.

What do you want me to say back? The entire point of the bullets in the chest/abdomen area (regardless of direction) is that it isn't a reliable way to Ensure someone is dead.
If you really want to execute someone you shoot them in the head or strangle them or something.
People pull through chest wounds (front or back) all the time. I've personally seen a case where a robber to a shotgun to the chest and has his guts lying on the floor. He's still alive, so why leave Seth with two bullets in his chest (back?) if you want to silence him?

Anyway, this is just a fact finding stage. Some facts will be worthless, some might not be. I do know who all is not interested in learning any facts about this though.

Except this requires the DNC be simultaneously brilliant and inept. Let me propose an alternative theory based on your premise.
Seth Rich is walking him and sees a garden variety thig coming at him. He makes a bad decision to fight the guy (instead of handing over his valuables). They fight. At some point the thig pulls out a pistol. Seth sees the gun and tries to run. The dumbass criminal shoots him twice in the back.
Since everyone on this conspiracy theory train is very adamant that Bloomingdale is a good neighborhood, the thug knows the cops are on the way and he runs the frick away.
Man that's a whole lot simpler and fits the dumbass criminal thinking.

The police never contacted the bar Seth was at or reviewed surveillance video. That is one fact.

Another fact is while u said there were 19 surveillance videos around (and others have also said this), the police told the family there were only a couple.

This is a little strange to me. Has there been a comment from the D.C. police about any video evidence being produced?

Why would the attending police or EMT's need knowledge of it being something other than an attempted murder?

Being threatened with your life or the life of another loved one has the capability of keeping one silent.
Not that I believe any of this, but it isn't beyond the realm of possibility. Especially if it is true that he was the leaker of the DNC e-mails.
