Are you trying to tell me that the FBI, WHO REPORTED THE WEAPON STOLEN, knew that the thief would not then use the weapon in a murder?

Can you not understand English?

I said there is noway the FBI was involved in knowingly letting someone who was going to kill this guy get a hold of one of their weapons.

That isn't even close to the same thing as saying the FBI knows that these weapons won't be used in a murder.

Obviously, not nearly as well as you. That being the case, it should be no problem quoting me where I said any fricking thing about the FBI knowingly letting a murderer steal their weapons. I'll wait.

Would this be a criminal offense, though?

Is it? If he was leaking the DNC emails and the DNC was concerned about what other emails he may have had, you sure wouldn't want this songbird chirping from inside a Federal Pen. Maybe Hillary thought she could silence the noise before the election.

The leak had leaked...it's preposterous.

I assume you understand it's not that clear cut in a situation where an employee is the one leaking the information.

If he had access to the data or if it was given to him by someone who has the authority to do so, releasing it would be breaking company policy (most surely), but not necessarily criminal law, notwithstanding anything in the data that is legally required to be kept confidential (E.g. ePHI).
