FBI busts sex trafficking ring selling 3-month-old for $600

I think we had a thread on this yesterday, but everyone really needs to understand that sex slavery is real and it's happening in America. It's fricking horrible and the people responsible need to be executed publicly.

No, it's not a left right thing. It's a heart thing. Man's heart is wicked and fallen, and without redemption, there is no hope and he is capable of every imaginable evil.

I clerked at the US Attorney's office after my first year of law school. There was one specific prosecutor who did nothing but prosecute child porn and child sex crimes. It was set up this way because (1) the sheer volume of cases kept him busy full-time and (2) the graphic material he would have to deal with as evidence- some folks could not stomach seeing it on a regular basis.

I was offered to work in that unit and politely declined. Didn't know if I had the stomach for it and didn't really want to find out. I eventually helped prosecute a case where a guy propositioned who he believed to be a 12 year old girl using a chat room, but that's as bad as it got. No pictures or actual sex or anything. Some of the stories the FBI and DHS guys told me about other cases made my skin crawl.

It's much, much worse than the general public understands.

Is a lot of this stuff transactioned through the "deep web"?

I live within 100 miles of Myrtle Beach. I've been countless times to Myrtle Beach, Garden City, Murrell's Inlet, Surfside etc, all of them. It's shocking so many of the rescued and arrested were in MB. I knew it was a problem, never realized it could be that bad, that close. Absolutely disgusted and a simple lethal injection isn't justice enough for me. They should suffer greatly to their death.

This was probably 6 or 7 years ago, so I don't know if the Deep Web was as well known as it is now. The stuff I was exposed to did not use the Deep Web, and it was relatively easy to track. I'd imagine the relative ease of pinging an IP and then subpoenaing the ISP for the physical address is what caused the TOR and onion programs to become more popular. I'm sure the FBI and those guys were lurking in the Deep Web if it was around then, but that was way above my pay grade.

I'm friends with folks in those depts. and the stories are truly horrifying. I don't know how more of it doesn't make the news. Denver seems to be the epicenter out west, leads to some terrible stories in small town CO.

Tor has been around for over a decade. It got popular when the most sinister of groups moved on to their next method of communication.

If that were a member of my family that had been taken , first I would thank God they had been found. Then it would be my mission to see to it his brains were missing from his skull before he ever stands trial.These people should die horribly and slowly.

If enough of that happened these evil bastards would think before they grab.

Sadly, partisan politics factor into some being dismissive of the scope
