They broadcast an Obama townhall meeting on ESPN that had absolutely nothing to do with sports for God's sake

Ill still watch live football on ESPN but not Gameday or any extra programming. Maybe if it werent stale and boring programming, it would override my political objections but its just bad.

yeah I honestly can't even remember the last time I watched a non-live sporting event on ESPN. I wish they didn't have almost a monopoly over SEC sporting events.

I watch sports to get away from all of that bs. ESPN has immersed themselves into the controversy thereby making it no longer enjoyable to watch. Thank God for the SEC Network and CBS games even if I don't always love the game times.

Consequently, we insist that no one be denigrated for who they are including their gender, ethnicity, religious beliefs or sexual identity.

But political beliefs are fair game.

At the same time, ESPN has values. We are committed to inclusion and an environment of tolerance where everyone in a diverse work force has the equal opportunity to succeed. We consider this human, not political.

The whole idea of values held by corporations is creepy. Why does ESPN have values aside from making money for Disney shareholders?

Pretty sure Curt Schilling might have something to say about that.

All they did was try to shift their batshit ideals from the realm of politics to humanity.

You guys are a tough crowd. I just wanted to see some contrition (even if fake) and self-awareness out of these assholes. Good enough right now. Y'all want to watch the world burn.

If it takes that much type to make your point, pointless. No believe.
