Remember that this man was formerly the Attorney General for the United States. These people will blame everyone but themselves for the loss.

I've been reading up on the EC and the more I read, the more it makes sense to keep it.

Do away with it and a presidential candidate will never campaign in 80% of the country again. There would be massive disenfranchisement.

While I wholeheartedly disagree with ending the electoral college, he isn't technically saying "frick the Constitution" because if I recall correctly, he did state they'd need to go through the constitutional amendment process, which is the correct procedure.

If only we could get liberals to do that for all the other shite they pull in the court system.

Remember just a few short years ago when liberals continually reminded us that elections have consequences. Deal with it.

Not only does it make sense to keep it, the Founders were fricking BRILLIANT and prophetic to come up with it.

Electoral College called saying. "I don't give a rat's arse what you think"... and neither does 2/3rds of Congress.

The time to have this debate is between elections. Bringing it up after your side lost is n emotional hail mary that smacks of sour grapes.

Prepare yourself for the left calling for riots and drastic change every time things go against them. To drag America down they HAVE to change America.

Before you argue with one of the idiots know what you are talking about (see uogreyedd post above). Then, make them tell you why something should change. $100 says the argument devolves into an emotional mess centered on them wanting to change a founding principle to suit their agenda rather than a rational and logical thought.

Right. Whichever way California votes go is going to be enough to decide an election.

Well I call for the new Attorney General to conduct a real investigation into Fast and Furious and then extradite everyone who knew about it to Mexico to stand trial for the illegal acts of war they perpetrated against our fine southern neighbor.

I'm ok with ending the electoral college if we change to determining the winner based on which candidate wins the most states.

And what are they going to do without the Electoral College. Most elections require a MAJORITY, not a plurality. And neither candidate got it. Also, going to a majority vote means basically limiting the election to 2 candidates forever.
