Do look down on factual reality?

Then when you fail at life you'll know its because you didn't go to college.

BS........ I didn't go to college and I'm doing pretty well. Of course, I don't mind being a worker bee, it works for me and mine.

Taxes solve every imaginable problem. Aids, climate change, terrorism, drugs, education, riots, hunger, you name it- taxes will fix it.

One way is to force schools to have some skin in the game. I've co-sponsored a bill with Sen. Jack Reed [D-R.I.] that requires colleges with high student-loan defaults to pay back some of the federal student aid they use.
HBCU's, who have very high default rates, will scream bloody murder until they get an exemption from this. Seriously.

So we propose stitching up tax loopholes that are available only to millionaires and billionaires, and requiring them to pay taxes at the same rate most American families pay.
Tax 'loopholes' would include mortgage interest deductions and donations to charity.
Most Americans don't pay taxes. It's the top 49% that pays.

I'm pretty fricking successful. College isn't a requirement for success.
Posted on 8/22/14 at 3:22 pm to SpidermanTUba
None of those 7 require a degree. Some of the best salespeople I've ever met never saw the inside of a college classroom. By the time they we're 24 they had zero student debt and made 2 to 4 times our MBA friends were making. Still are today.

Yep. The reason sales, insurance, etc companies look for college degrees is because there are so many people with them. They think "Well, this person has a 4 year liberal arts degree, so they're probably not a huge frickup" and hire them over those without a degree. People say that they will never be able to afford to go to college without government help, but prices wouldn't be near what they are if the government got out of it all together. I'm going to be $30k in debt when I finish in a year and it should be a good deal less.

Or they could go to trade school and make more than people with a degree.

I know plenty of worker bees that have become wealthy. Here is the trick though...they have to work. They work hard too.

Tuition costs are up 500 percent since 1985
How does Elizabeth Warren not recognize that the government guaranteeing students easy access to credit is the reason for the sharp increase in tuition over the past two decades?
