Intel and Exxon.

ETA: They are responsible for approximately negative 70 points on the DJ 30 right now.

The convo I’m hearing is that there was wide expectation that the number would be high for the past week or so, and that the market adjusted at that time.

You need a surprise to move the market. 4.1% is about in line with the estimates.

Only noobs and journalists care about the Dow. Investors use the S&P or other metrics.

Because our debt to gdp ratio is moving fast in the wrong direction with trump.

Our gdp could be 40% but if we keep going further into debt it won’t matter.

Trump is obama on steroids as far as debt. But the phony conservatives won’t admit it.

Why Exxon?
They announced their Q2 earnings this morning before the market opened and they missed their profit forecasts.

They said it was due to several refinery extended outages during the quarter.

Trump signed the tax cuts bill and the omnibus spending bill. 2019 projections are showing a trillion dollar deficit.

Then any estimates made by the "experts" will come as no surprise then? That doesn't make a lot of sense.
