Obama in 08 vs McCain was the golden child. McCain was like Dole in 96 given the nomination for career work.

The average "conservative" today is nothing more than a big government liberal... just on the flip side of the their opposing party. Anyone who welcomes government intrusion into the private lives of it's citizens... they're no conservative.
