Ahh, I see.
So, we just say 'frick it', nothing matters?
If so, why the lectures and shaming about not caring?

I'd argue the only people saying "frick it" are those telling blacks to pull themselves up by their bootstraps and deal with it. It's an intellectually shallow position meant to avoid diving deeper into potentially uncomfortable truths.
It's much easier to just say black people as a whole are inferior and must actively choose to live the life of success and happiness laid out by the superior class of people.

You left out a number. IQ. Blacks are by far the least intelligent of all races. Could that have something to do with their lack of success?
OK I'm confused. Are you arguing for or against white privilege? Bc if you believe the above, you are arguing WP. I mean, whites are lucky to be born with, on average, more intelligence and higher cognitive capacity. If that's not privilege IDK what is.

I'm curious if he genuinely believes blacks, as a whole, have a lower IQ than whites.
Because if so that would explain a lot. The condescending, paternalistic tone he takes when discussing them makes a lot of sense in light of his perceived inherent cognitive superiority.

Oh he absolutely does. The Bell Curve is his Bible. It's the only thing he's ever read regarding intelligence and heredity bc he liked the conclusions and didn't want newer data or studies to change that.

Another way would be to let the government promote Christian ideals of good works and charity toward others.
But no because that would freak out the hardcore secularists.

I've read the Bible multiple times, one thing noticeably absent from it's pages is white people

There's certainly ways to close the gap. Intervening in early education is a hell of a lot more effective than post-secondary affirmative action.
But the plain truth is that "common-sense" education reform involves touching three rails: the conservative rail of a more "equitable" distribution of district funds, the liberal rail of performance-based compensation for teachers, and the bipartisan rail of "giving less of a frick about what parents think."
(Parents have the right to put their kids in home school or private school. But public schools are handcuffed by bending over backwards to accommodate parents who think they, and their kids, are always right. Public education should be like any other form of welfare: take the handout, take the conditions.)

You don't need to adopt Christian values to promote charity and good will.

you see the "white privilege" argument has become a way to criticize this sort of behavior as being privileged literally things like having 2 parents, having them give a frick about your education, having a work ethic, etc are "white privilege", just as they're seen as "being white" in the majority of urban-black communities
This is a bigger threat to the black community than any "white privilege". They really self-police when it comes to success. Do well in school? You're not keepin it real. Try to stay out of trouble? Uncle Tom. They are truly their own worst enemy.

what it really is, is an attempt to excuse the pathologies of culture of those in poverty it also is a way to decrease individual achievements, which is a pillar of modern liberals/progressives/democrats
Hit it on the head there. Liberals, in general, don't like when people are able to achieve success independently because there is no way of asserting power over that individual. They really want people to rely on them or the state to assist in their success so they can use that success story as an excuse roll out more govt programs and gain more power over the general populace.

That's it!
The culture the whites enjoy today is do to a non-white one that they adopted!
The message:
'White culture' is really not white at all, so why not embrace it?

These are all black problems and I don't care. Now that sounds harsh, but I don't care about things I have zero control over or can have any impact. These are things the black community will have to fix themselves. The government can't fix it for them. White privledge doesn't exists anymore and hasn't for years. Its a myth in the minds of ppl who for whatever reason feel inferior to whites in their own minds. Privileges go to those who are willing to put in the hardwork and create their own.
This mindset is the reason why our moral fabric as a country is going to waste.

I read all this and all I can wonder is...do any of you actually interact with blsck people in your personal life?
Like not at work. But as a good friend or best friend? Family member?

Not really.
He's simply using the old adage "grant the me the serenity to change the things I can, accept the things I cannot change and the wisdom to know the difference".

Because I hear a lot of what should be done but "they should do it I don't want anything to do with helping."

Are you implying the culture of success in America is derived from the culture of the Bible?

Well, here's your chance to tell us white folk how to fix the black community.
