Wasn't full throated enough. Mentioned Trump's elevation of Fauci and said he would honor his pledge, while putting down Haley for being a corporatist. So he's scum, and so is his wife.

He's too smart to do that. When Trump loses to Biden again, not only will Trump be finished politically but his VP's political future will be over as well, just like Paul Ryan in 2012. DeSantis is smart enough to know that.
He'll go back to Florida and if/when Biden wins he'll stand up against his radical agenda and run an epic "I told you so" campaign in 2028.

Likely more geared toward 2028 than the VP role
He had to suck up to the Trump-first folks and hope they'll get permission to support Ron in the future. Not so sure that's realistic.
