Welp, that chart basically shows ~3 years for the average investigation. Can you see what is going to happen? It is obvious that this will be dragged out to re-election and will probablh be dropped at an opportune time.

This is exactly what is going to happen. And they'll drop something similar to Trump University.

Hopefully Trump's got the people behind him to push our own special council into the Clinton Foundation/unmasking/DWS. Devine intervention will see to it that this go around ends up like the last, Clinton's FBI investigation vs. Grab em' by the pussy.

Independent counsels should have an expiration date and shouldn't be allowed to expand the probe beyond the original investigation. Too much room for abuse of power.

If you read the rules regarding the independent counsel, Mueller cant expand the probe outside of the scope set by the AG or assistant Ag. According to the rules, if a special counsel wishes to expand the probe, he must submit his request and the reasoning for the expansion to the Ag. It is the Ag who then grants or denies the expansion. Reading this though, it sounds like the assistant Ag has just given him the green light to do whatever he wants.

Open ended investigations without any checks on them and probing and searching records to find a crime is not only an abuse of power, it's also a violation of the 4th amendment.

Special counsel laws seriously needs to be reformed and so they stay in the limited scope of their lanes as provided by the mission statement from the appointer.

Let's be honest about what's happening here. This really isn't about Russia. This is about Trump's finances.

Their goal is to impeach Trump. They will investigate anything they need to in order to make it happen.

There are a shite ton of subversives in the DOJ and FBI that wants Trump gone and the GOPe wants that too and is actively encouraging it and doing everything they can to prevent Trump or the DAG from reining in Mueller.

If his investigations lead back to the previous administration all is fair game right?

None.

It's a fishing expedition.

There is no rule of law once you start investigate people rather than investigating crimes.

Why are you guys worried about this? If It's discovered during the investigation that Trump broke the law, you should WANT him removed from office, especially if it's a legit felony and not some ambiguous political charge.

He didn't colude with Russia. That's all but a certainty now. No one is even talking about that anymore.

If he was guilty of financial crimes, and he knew it, he probably shouldn't have run for President.

If he's never broken the law, he's (we've) got nothing to worry about.

And absolutely best of all...

No matter how far down the line of succession you go, Hillary ain't ever gonna be President.

I think what's got most people upset is it's looking like a witch hunt. Not to mention the Obama administration broke the law with impunity and so far nothing.

I really think people still fear there's some way this turns out with Hillary in the Oval Office.
