Let this sink in for a minute...the commies were so paranoid that they brought over UN observers to watch the voting polls in the US for the BO's second run for POTUS...the fricking UN!...and guess what happened?
They wrote up a report of what they saw and what they thought...they reported that they could not believe that the US allowed so many non citizens to vote in the election!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now let me hear the come-backs to that!

Not really. Having a valid ID is essential to everyday life these days. This is a common sense idea that has no nefarious intention. I don't want anyone voting that shouldn't be (no matter who they vote for).

I just don't see how the anti ID people can defend it beyond an emotional argument.

So why not take those arguments away from them by implementing an ID process?

I'm FOR voter ID laws. I'm HIGHLY for them. But if it's difficult I tell you what, let's all pay for them. They are free. You show up with a birth certificate or your citizenship papers and you get an ID. It costs you nothing. We will even do them at the food stamp and welfare office if it's inconvenient for the poors and dummies. Because we ALL know this is about illegals voting. Illegals who get drivers licenses and benefits and go to school for free. All on my fricking dime. If they went away, that's a chunk of the Dem voting block that goes. That's exactly why Dems don't want this to happen.

You saying that positive verification of all people eligible for electing the people who run this country is just another layer? Jeez.

So requiring me to present ID to exercise my 2A right is fine but requiring me to present an ID to vote isn't ok.

What could possibly be wrong with an ID required for voting

It disenfranchises eligible citizens with no legitimate reason to do so.

95% of Whites have photo ID. 90% and 87% for Hispanics and Blacks, respectively. 88% for all races whose income is below $25K.

It's not hard to get an ID. I'd be 100% for them being free for those that can't afford it.

You should take off your tinfoil hat.

Some states don't require PHOTO ID for welfare.

Exactly, the fake "voter fraud" boogeyman is the stated reason but the real reason is to disproportionately limit poor people from voting.

Personally, I'm for voter ID. Besides, it only benefits poor people to have identification. How do you expect to get out of poverty if you don't have a photo ID? You need it to get a job, own a car, cash a check.

Then lets do it. Otherwise its a poll tax, and poll taxes are not constitutional.

That's a fair compromise.
