Lets make sure we're talking about the same thing.

When Trump uses the term I believe he defines Fake News as:

Reporting information with a negative, even sarcastic tone, in commentary and with follow up questions designed to get the public focused off the main message the President wants to convey and on a message that makes the President look incompetent, a liar etc..

The media can say they are reporting the facts but it's the way they do it that makes it fake?

Not sure I get your perspective here. Sorry. I'm denser than usual tonight.

Trump didn't create the fake news narrative, the left did.

I am just throwing out what I think Trump means...

and I agree with him, I hate CNN...and MSNBC is channel I can not even attempt to watch

I gave RAchel Maddow 5 minutes of my time, and I demand an apology.

Fake News is not necessarily a blatant piece of propaganda.

It news reporting with an agenda...spin city!

No, it's the fact that they are trying to rig and shape public opinion to their political beliefs.

Take the example of the media stating that Trump is unhinged and a mad man for his press conference yesterday, which he told them that they would. If anyone watched that press conference, they would know that he was loose and having fun. He wasn't anywhere near unhinged.

Then take the story the AP ran with today with the headlines that Trump was going to send out 100,000 solders of the Nation Guard to round up illegals. They knew that was total BS, yet they ran with it.

And those are just two examples from the past two days. They have been crapping the bed since the beginning of the election, which they were proven to have interfered with in order to influence it's results.

Anything from A Want, CNN, HuffPo, Buzzfeed, National Inquirer, or MSNBC is likely fake and requires verification.

Reporting opinion as fact. There's a reason talking heads have taken over news, they can frame the narrative for the most wealthy and powerful.

Look...

CNN has fake news for years under Obama.

Not surprising we find out they are working for the government.

False Flags, Anderson Cooper, etc.

Obama's gun control campaign.

It's been obvious that CNN has been providing fake "breaking news stories" for an agenda for awhile.

Define, hmmmmm, look at the AP report today about National Guard. Trump doesn't even have to try to expose the drive-by fools, they are doing it by themselves...look at Schumers response too...lol!

Clinton also took a moment during her speech to seemingly blame “fake news” for her defeat: “It’s now clear that so-called fake news can have real world consequences. This isn’t about politics or partisanship. Lives are at risk. Lives of ordinary people just trying to go about their days to do their jobs, contribute to their communities.”

Exactly. The AP's headline stated that 100,000 National Guard troops was going to be an “unprecedented militarization of immigration enforcement”, and nowhere in that draft (that is all anyone can claim it was) is that number even mentioned. The only paragraphes on the 11 page document that even mentions the National Guard are these two:

quote:

Pursuant to Title 32 of the United States Code, State National Guard components are employees of their respective states and are under the command of their Governors when they are not in federal service. Based on their training and experience, these men and women are particularly well-suited to assist in the enforcement of federal immigration law and augment border security operations by Department components.

To maximize participation by state and local jurisdictions in the enforcement of federal immigration law, I am directing the Director of ICE to engage with all willing and qualified law enforcement jurisdictions for the purpose of entering into agreements under section 287(g) of the INA. Additionally, I am directing the Commissioner of CBP and the Director of ICE to immediately engage with the Governors of the States adjacent to the land border with Mexico and those States adjoining such border States for the purpose of entering into agreements under section 287(g) of the INA to authorize qualified members of the State National Guard, while such 3 members are not in federal service, or qualified members of a state militia or state defense force under the command of the Governor, to perform the functions of an immigration officer in relation to the investigation, apprehension, and detention of aliens in the United States.

Now tell me how that isn't reporting a falsely derived narrative on a draft of a supposed EO that was supposedly written 3 weeks ago, and then shelved.

FYI, here is a link to the draft: LINK
