Never had a cop tell me not to reach for something. And i've reached for all kinds of shite to give him

The person I was responding to was stating as fact that he said that. Trying to change the story to fit his opinion.

This man was a model citizen. Your statement is pathetically naive.

If I were him, while I'm being pulled over would have told my girl to take the papers out of the glovebox & put the gun there (more inaccessible place)
That way when LEO approaches, he doesnt have to reach for anything. If decided to disclose he has a weapon, could have reassured the officer it's in the glovebox out of his reach.
It's hard to teach common sense. You have to know the climate LEO's & citizens are living in. It's a sad situation all around

does it make sense that a city like Baltimore with a black mayor, black police chief, and a good amount of black officers would be ok with a policy to target poor black communities?
You're making it too much about race. Do the police chiefs know that they have to hit certain numbers in revenue? Absolutely. Do they know where to get it? Absolutely.

Fify
How is that different than the false perceptions many black people are under with regards to cops?

You also see the officer repeatedly tell him not to reach for the gun, but he does so anyway.
How do you know this?

This is the idiocy level of our society. Thanks for checking in again.

He stopped Castile because there was a robbery of a convenience store about 2 miles away. That would explain the officers jumpiness.
The robbery was four days prior. And Yanez didn't believe that they matched the description. He was covering his arse for a traffic stop. There was no woman involved in the robbery and Yanez said both occupants of the car matched the description.

Some are reporting he never even had a CV permit. I haven't confirmed that though

You either think every stop is exactly the same and think I'm an idiot to disagree. Or you agree that every situation is different but called me an idiot for trying to get the guy to realize that every stop is different. You pick which one, good luck with that.

And Yanez didn't believe that they matched the description.

Exactly
So you are implying that in cities like Baltimore with black mayors and black police chiefs...
They know they have certain quotas and they are ok with hitting them by over policing poor blacks. This is what you are saying. Do you find that somewhat implausible? Especially since these same mayors and police chiefs speak out against racism

Did Yanez say both occupants of the car matched the description of the robbery suspects?

Why is that implausible to you? Civic leaders talking about racism are pandering for votes. Why are you fighting this extremely obvious point?

He only needed one. So why did he lie?

Cop was making a legal stop for brake lights out. Cop told driver to not reach several times. Cop shot driver. That is the story.
